The Complete Andaman LTC 13N/14D — 13 Nights / 14 Days
A 13 nights 14 days Andaman LTC tour that runs the full circuit: Port Blair, Rangat, Long Island, Diglipur, Havelock and Neil.
About this itinerary
This is the longest LTC circuit, north to south. After Port Blair and the Cellular Jail, you head up to Rangat for the mangrove walkway, then Long Island for Lalaji Bay and Guitar Island, and Diglipur for the Twin Islands, Kalipur and a Saddle Peak trek.
The trip then works back down to Port Blair and out to Havelock and Neil for the beaches. It is built for travellers with time who want the offbeat north as well as the usual islands, and it carries several long road and ferry days.

Before you travel
- Day 1 stays in Port Blair, so a morning or early afternoon landing works best. Standard hotel check-in in Port Blair is from about 2 PM to 3 PM, with earlier check-in subject to availability. The airport to hotel transfer is about 20 to 25 minutes in a private car.
- Ferry tickets are included and held once your trip is confirmed: the Port Blair to Havelock, Havelock to Neil and Neil to Port Blair ferries. The Rangat to Long Island and Long Island to Rangat legs use government ferries from Yerrata, which run on alternate days, usually Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and are subject to the sailing schedule and weather. Rangat and Diglipur are reached by road.
- The Cellular Jail and its museum are closed on Mondays and national holidays, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. The Light and Sound show runs in Hindi from about 5:50 PM and in English at about 6:50 PM. Non-professional camera charges are about ₹200 per camera.
- The drives north run by convoy along the Andaman Trunk Road through the Jarawa Tribal Reserve. Photographing or interacting with members of the tribe is prohibited.
- This is a long-distance itinerary with several full road days: Port Blair to Rangat is about seven to eight hours, Long Island to Diglipur via Rangat about ten to twelve, and the return from Diglipur to Port Blair about ten to twelve. Start early and carry water and snacks, as there are few places to eat on the way.
- Guitar Island near Long Island is reachable only at low tide, and all boat rides there are subject to weather and government directives. There are no shops or facilities on the island.
- The Twin Islands of Ross and Smith have no shops, cafes or lifeguards, only basic bamboo huts and changing rooms. Carry your own snorkelling gear and refreshments, and attempt snorkelling only if you are a confident swimmer. Kalipur Beach is an undeveloped turtle-nesting site, with the season running roughly October to March.
- The Saddle Peak trek is about 8 km each way and takes five to seven hours round trip. Attempt the full trek only if your fitness allows, or do a shorter stretch and turn back. A forest permit and guide are advised.
- The Elephant Beach snorkelling session is complimentary and cannot be moved to another day or refunded if not used. Any other water sport is paid directly at the site.
- The Natural Rock Formation at Neil is reachable only at low tide. If the tide is high, the visit shifts straight to Laxmanpur Beach No. 1. Water sports at Bharatpur are paid at the site, so carry cash as card and online payments are often unavailable.
- Breakfast is included as per itinerary. Any meal not listed for a day is payable directly.
