Payments Policy

Certain advance payment should be made for any service that you choose to contract with AndamanTourism.org. Let us clarify that such advance payment are solicited to hold the booking done by you on a confirmed basis. The balance amount is required to be paid either at the time of your departure or upon arrival at the destination. Entire amount requires to be paid prior to commencement of services. Management reserves the right to decide how much amount to be paid in advance. The amount will vary based on the nature of the services offered. It will also depend on how much time is left between booking the service and the time for the commencement of the services.

In certain typical cases, when it is the peak tourist season and booking prices shoot up temporarily for all related services and the travel packages are high in demand, full payment needs to be made. For example, Christmas and New Year usually sees a packed tourist season and hence you need to book services in lieu of full down payment.

Mode of Payment

Payment transactions can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank.

Covid-19 cancellation policy:

Booking can be postponed to any future date if any of the guests have an ongoing COVID-19 related health issue or lock-down, subject to receipt of adequate supporting documentation.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please read this policy before you confirm your trip. It explains when you can change or cancel a booking, when a refund is possible, and how long a refund takes to reach you.

Changing or cancelling your booking

You can move, shorten, or cancel confirmed dates only if you tell us in writing at least 30 days before your check in date. Any change is subject to availability at the time.

If you ask to change, postpone, or cancel within 30 days of check in, we cannot make the change. In that case the full package value is retained and no refund is due.

Dates with no refund

Bookings made for the following peak periods are non-refundable. If your travel falls in any of these windows, no refund applies regardless of when you cancel:

  • 01 March 2026 to 15 July 2026
  • 13 August 2026 to 26 August 2026
  • 01 October 2026 to 12 October 2026
  • 15 October 2026 to 25 October 2026
  • 05 November 2026 to 15 November 2026
  • 15 December 2026 to 15 January 2027

Note: This also covers any long weekend, festive weekend, or other high demand date. If your travel falls on such a date, 100 percent of the package value is retained. You will not receive a refund or a credit note for a future trip.

Other situations with no refund

  • No show. If you do not turn up for your booking, no refund is given.
  • Unused nights or early checkout. If you leave early or do not use booked nights, those nights are not refunded.
  • Mid tour cancellation. You may stop your tour partway through, but the amount already paid is non-refundable.

Bad weather and ferry or seaplane disruption

Sea and air travel in the Andamans can be affected by weather. If a ferry or seaplane to Havelock or any other island is cancelled due to bad weather or any situation beyond our control, we will arrange alternative accommodation in Port Blair. Any extra night of accommodation in Havelock or Port Blair caused by such a delay is charged separately.

How refunds are paid

Where a refund is due, we return it using the same payment method you first used. If you paid in cash, we refund by cheque or online transfer instead.

If you hold an international bank account, any bank charges on the transfer are yours to bear. We send the amount as calculated under this policy.

Refund timeline

Once we receive your cancellation request, we start the refund from our side within 5 working days. After we release it, the money usually reflects in your account within 5 to 14 days, depending on your bank.

Cancellation surcharge

For any cancellation processed under this policy, a surcharge of 10 percent plus 18 percent tax applies and is deducted from the refund amount.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

Please note that after confirmation of any services and finalization of the cost, all hikes in taxes, entrance fees, fuel costs by the Government of India, the liability of the same would be transferred to the guests.

The itineraries mentioned in the website are ideal sample itineraries to give our guests a fair idea of the tour plan. The itinerary might be subject to changes because of a number of factors such as weather and road conditions, viability and interest of guests, etc. AndamanTourism.org.org reserves exclusive rights to make any changes to any schedule in the sole interest of the guests keeping in mind their safety, comfort and general well-being.

  • Our rates are competitive and based on best of negotiations with the hotel chains, airlines, etc. If our channel partners modify rates, AndamanTourism.org also reserves the right to modify rates quoted previously.
  • AndamanTourism.org will not be responsible for any delays or alteration in the itinerary or expenses incurred on account of natural calamities, flight cancellations, accidental breakdown of machinery, transport or equipment or any other unprecedented incidents.
  • AndamanTourism.org does not have any system travel insurance policy. Clients may procure such insurance arrangements at their own discretion.

Please Note: We are not responsible for any costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as political or social disturbances, natural calamities, etc. AndamanTourism.org expressly disclaims any implied warranties imputed by the laws of any jurisdiction and is to be subjected to the jurisdiction only in the law courts of New Delhi, India.
