About this itinerary
This package front-loads Havelock: you cross on arrival day and get two full nights on the island for its sunrise, sunset and snorkelling beaches. The second half is based in Port Blair, with a long but rewarding road day out to Baratang.
Day 1 lands in Port Blair and crosses straight to Havelock. Day 2 covers Kalapathar and Radhanagar. Day 3 snorkels at Elephant Beach before the ferry back to Port Blair. Day 4 is the Baratang limestone-caves excursion. Day 5 is the flight home.

Arrival in Port Blair and Transfer to Havelock Island
Land at Veer Savarkar Airport in Port Blair, where your coordinator transfers you to Phoenix Bay or Haddo Jetty for the ferry to Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep).
On arrival at Havelock, check in at your hotel and, after a long travel day, take it easy for the rest of the afternoon.

Kalapathar Beach and Radhanagar Beach
After breakfast, drive to Kalapathar Beach, known for its sunrise views, black volcanic rock and calm feel, with time to swim, walk and take photographs.
In the late afternoon, head to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), named Asia's best beach by Time Magazine in 2004, and watch the sky change colour as the sun drops to the horizon.

Elephant Beach Snorkelling and Cruise Back to Port Blair
After breakfast, take the boat to Elephant Beach, about 20 to 30 minutes across the water, for its shallow water, corals and water sports, with a complimentary snorkelling session over the reef. A guided jungle walk of about 40 to 50 minutes is an alternative way in.
In the afternoon, transfer to Havelock Jetty and sail back to Port Blair. Check in, and in the evening browse Aberdeen Bazaar for handicrafts and coconut-coir souvenirs.

Day Trip to Baratang Island
After an early breakfast, set out by road for Baratang, crossing the jungle and the Jarawa reserve to reach the jetty. From there, a boat ride through a mangrove creek leads to the walk up to the limestone caves.
The caves hold stalactites hanging from the ceiling and stalagmites rising from the floor, shaped over time by rainwater on limestone. Return to Port Blair for the night.

Before you travel
- Day 1 is a travel day to Havelock. Land in Port Blair before 12 PM so the jetty transfer, the ferry crossing and the Havelock check-in are unhurried. A later flight risks missing the day's Havelock leg.
- On Day 3 the ferry from Havelock back to Port Blair sets the morning's pace, and on Day 5 the airport transfer takes about 25 to 30 minutes, so book a return flight for early afternoon or later.
- The Day 4 Baratang excursion is by road, about 110 km and 3 hours each way. The route crosses the Jarawa Tribal Reserve in a scheduled convoy. Photographing or interacting with the Jarawa is prohibited by law. After the road, a mangrove-creek boat ride and a short walk lead to the caves.
- Breakfast is included as per the day plan. Any meal not listed for a day is payable directly, including lunches and dinners taken at cafes, shacks or restaurants.
- Water sports at Elephant Beach such as banana boating, sea walk and parasailing are payable directly or can be taken as add-ons. Snorkelling at Elephant Beach is included. All water activities are subject to weather and sea conditions.
- Inside the Baratang caves, wear sturdy shoes, carry a steady flashlight and an insect repellent, and keep to the marked path.
- Foreign nationals should check the current Restricted Area Permit rules for the Andaman Islands before travel, as these rules change from time to time.

Good to know before you book
Terms and conditions
- 50 percent of the package amount confirms your booking. The balance is due before departure or on arrival.
- Prices are per person on twin sharing, land only. They do not cover air or rail fare, so adding flights or trains raises the price.
- Rates move on peak dates. These include 20 December to 5 January, Onam, Christmas, New Year, festive holidays, and long weekends.
- Quoted rates hold for the hotel category confirmed at booking. Any room or meal-plan upgrade is re-quoted.
- Standard hotel check-in is around 2 PM and check-out by 11 AM or 12 noon. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability and are not guaranteed.
- Costs from events beyond our control, including hartals, floods, landslides, roadblocks, and other natural calamities, and from any delay or change they force, are borne by the guest and are not refundable.
- The cab runs as per the itinerary and is not at your disposal for unplanned travel.
- The itinerary may be re-sequenced on the ground for weather, traffic, or similar reasons.
Payments
50 percent of the package value confirms the booking, with the balance due before departure or on arrival.
Payments are made by wire transfer to our bank account. Our team shares the account details once you are ready to confirm.
Cancellation and refunds
You can move, shorten, or cancel confirmed dates only if you tell us in writing at least 30 days before your check-in date. Any change is subject to availability at the time.
If you ask to change, postpone, or cancel within 30 days of check-in, we cannot make the change. The full package value is retained and no refund is due.
Dates with no refund
Bookings for the following peak periods are non-refundable. If your travel falls in any of these windows, no refund applies, whenever you cancel:
- 1 March to 15 July
- 13 August to 26 August
- 1 October to 12 October
- 15 October to 25 October
- 5 November to 15 November
- 15 December to 15 January
This also covers any long weekend, festive weekend, or other high-demand date. On these dates 100 percent of the package value is retained, and you will not receive a refund or a credit note for a future trip.
Refund timeline
Once we receive your cancellation request, we start the refund from our side within 5 working days. After we release it, the money usually reflects in your account within 5 to 14 days, depending on your bank.
Cancellation surcharge
For any cancellation processed under this policy, a surcharge of 10 percent plus 18 percent tax applies, deducted from the refund amount.
