Andaman Heritage Island Escape 5N/6D — 5 Nights / 6 Days
A 5 nights 6 days Andaman trip that gives Port Blair three nights for its colonial history and harbour islands, then two on Havelock for Kalapathar and an Elephant Beach snorkelling trip. Built for first timers who want sightseeing and beach time in equal measure.
About this itinerary
Five nights that cover the two islands most first Andaman trips are built around, with the history kept front and centre. Port Blair holds the opening three nights: the Cellular Jail and its Light and Sound show, a harbour boat day out to the colonial ruins of Ross Island and the reefs of North Bay, and a quieter run down to Wandoor and a marine museum.
Then the ferry crosses to Havelock for two nights. Kalapathar fills a slow afternoon on the island's east side, and a morning boat runs out to Elephant Beach for a complimentary snorkelling session over the shallow corals. It is a balanced first timer route, a little heavier on sightseeing than most, and it keeps you clear of any long overland drives.

Questions about this package
Port Blair and Havelock. Port Blair takes the first three nights for the Cellular Jail, Ross Island, North Bay and Wandoor, and Havelock gets the last two for Kalapathar Beach and the Elephant Beach snorkelling trip.
Yes. The Port Blair to Havelock and Havelock to Port Blair ferries are booked and held once your trip is confirmed. Ross Island and North Bay are reached separately by government harbour boat.
It is one of the better first trips. Three nights in Port Blair cover the history and the harbour islands at an easy pace, and the two Havelock nights add beach time, with no long road journeys in between.
The Elephant Beach snorkelling session is complimentary. Scuba at Nemo Reef, the North Bay glass bottom boat and snorkelling, and the sea walk, jet ski, banana boat and parasailing at Elephant Beach are all paid add-ons.
Three nights in Port Blair and two on Havelock, so the sightseeing sits early in the trip and the beaches close it out.
October to May, for calm seas and clear crossings to Havelock and back.
