Northern Trail Honeymoon 8N/9D — 8 Nights / 9 Days
An 8 nights 9 days Andaman honeymoon that opens on Havelock, slows down on Neil, then crosses the offbeat north through Baratang, Rangat and Diglipur before finishing in Port Blair, with a Radhanagar photoshoot and Laxmanpur stargazing.
About this itinerary
Eight nights that lead with the beaches and then turn north. You go straight to Havelock on arrival for Radhanagar, a complimentary photoshoot and an Elephant Beach snorkelling trip, then cross to Neil for Bharatpur, the Natural Bridge and a Laxmanpur stargazing evening.
From Neil the trip heads into the north most honeymoons never reach, driving up through Baratang and Rangat to Diglipur, the quiet top of the islands, before returning to Port Blair for the Cellular Jail and Corbyn's Cove. The Radhanagar photoshoot and Laxmanpur stargazing are built in, with a candlelight dinner available as an add-on.

Before you travel
- Day 1 ferries straight to Havelock, so a morning or early afternoon landing in Port Blair works best. The island ferries and boat trips run to fixed timings confirmed with you in advance.
- Ferry tickets are included and held once your trip is confirmed: the Port Blair to Havelock, Havelock to Neil and Neil to Port Blair ferries. Ferries open bookings 60 to 90 days out and morning slots fill first.
- The drive north to Rangat and Diglipur on Days 5 to 7 runs along the Andaman Trunk Road through the Jarawa Tribal Reserve in a government convoy, so these days start very early. Photographing or interacting with the Jarawa is prohibited by law.
- The Baratang limestone caves and the mangrove creek boat ride depend on the tide and the convoy timing, so they are not guaranteed on a fixed slot.
- The Cellular Jail and its museum are closed on Mondays and national holidays, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. The Light and Sound show runs in English on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at about 6:50 PM and in Hindi on other nights from about 5:50 PM. Non-professional camera charges are about Rs 200 per camera.
- Breakfast is included as per itinerary. Any meal not listed for a day is payable directly.
- Water sports at Elephant Beach and Bharatpur are subject to weather and paid directly. The Elephant Beach snorkelling session is complimentary, while sea walk, jet ski, banana boat and parasailing are paid on the spot.
- The Radhanagar Beach photoshoot and the Laxmanpur Beach stargazing are complimentary. A private candlelight dinner can be arranged on request as an add-on.
- Carry cash for water sports and site payments, as card and online payments are often unavailable.
