About this itinerary

Weekend Getaway is the short trip for a first look at the Andamans without a long island circuit. Everything runs from a single Port Blair base, so there is no packing and repacking between hotels.

Day 1 eases in with the Cellular Jail and its evening light and sound show. Day 2 is a harbour day out to Ross Island and North Bay, with the coral and water sports of North Bay and an evening back at Corbyn's Cove. Day 3 is a city tour of the marine and anthropological museums, the Chatham saw mill and Aberdeen Bazaar. Day 4 is the airport transfer. It suits first timers and anyone with a long weekend to spare.
