Port Blair Explorer 3N/4D — 3 Nights / 4 Days
A 3 nights 4 days Port Blair trip taking in the Cellular Jail, Corbyn's Cove, Ross Island, the North Bay corals, Mount Manipur and a Chidiya Tapu sunset.
About this itinerary
Three nights that stay put in Port Blair and dig into the south of the island instead of racing off to the ferries. The trip opens with the Cellular Jail and Corbyn's Cove, then a harbour-boat day to the ruins on Ross Island and the corals of North Bay.
The last day climbs the forest ridge of Mount Manipur and ends with a sunset over the mangroves at Chidiya Tapu. It suits travellers with a short window who want history, a little jungle and the easiest reef near town, without an island change.

Questions about this package
The Cellular Jail, Corbyn's Cove, a harbour-boat day to Ross Island and North Bay, the forest ridge of Mount Manipur and a sunset at Chidiya Tapu. It all stays within South Andaman, so there is no island change.
Flights land at Veer Savarkar Airport (Sri Vijaya Puram), direct from some metros and connecting from others, usually via Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi or Kolkata. Day 1 begins in Port Blair, so a morning or early afternoon landing fits the plan.
By government harbour boat from the Water Sports Complex, not the island catamarans. Tickets and the forest fee are arranged locally. Ross Island is closed on Wednesdays.
Yes for the main South Andaman sights at an easy pace. It is a good short trip or an add-on before heading to the beach islands on a later visit.
Chidiya Tapu is the quiet southern tip, about an hour from town, known for birdlife and a wide sunset over the sea and mangroves from Munda Pahad.
October to May for clear skies, calm seas and the best light at Chidiya Tapu.
