Detailed Itinerary(2 Nights and 3 Days)

1 Night in Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 1 Night in Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Welcome to Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram). Post arrival at Veer Savarkar Airport, our tour coordinator will meet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel. The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel is 20 – 25 minutes. 

Afternoon: Keep your valid photo IDs ready for a smooth hotel check in. The standard check in time at the hotel is 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. You will head to your room to rest and freshen up. Later, you will head out to begin the sightseeing tour. 

Later Afternoon (4:00 PM – 4:30 PM): Our coordinator will be taking you Port Blair’s most significant historical landmark: Cellular Jail. Explore the intriguing architecture of the jail, including its hallways and solitary cells. Used as a colonial prison by the British, this structure is now a memorial, honouring the struggle of Indian revolutionaries. 

What to See: Photo Gallery, Library, Museum displaying personal items, letters, documents, photographs of the inmates. 

Light & Sound Show: Next, watch an engaging Light & Sound show. Using laser light, music and audio elements, the show narrates the history of Cellular Jail and the life of convicts who were subject to torment by the hands of colonisers. The show lasts up to 45 minutes.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.
• Professional Camera charges: INR 1000/- per camera.

Evening: Post Light & Sound Show, you can explore Aberdeen Bazaar and shop for souvenirs like sea shell jewellery, miniature ship models, tribal figurines, etc.

Back to hotel: Our on-ground tour coordinator will attend you and drop you back at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair

Early Morning: Freshen up and get ready for a pick up by our tour coordinator. Today, you will be going to have a delightful coastal stay at Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). Get a car transfer from the hotel to Phoenix Bay Jetty. 

Note: The morning departure of ferries from Port Blair to Havelock Island begins at 6 AM. So kindly stay ready for car transfer before that time. (at least 1 hour before)

What to expect? Havelock Island is famed for its lush greenery, aquamarine waters, spectacular beaches, beautiful sunsets, and water sports.

At Phoenix Bay Jetty: Our on-ground team coordinator will help your board the ferry. Afterwards, you will cruise towards Havelock Island. The estimated transfer time from Port Blair to Havelock can be 1.5 hours to 2 hours. 

Welcome to Havelock: AndamanTourism.org’s tour representative will be present at Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) jetty to welcome you. Get a hassle-free car transfer from the jetty to the hotel. Check in at the hotel, unwind yourself and post relaxation, you will leave for Radhanagar Beach. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Proceed to Radhanagar Beach, a serene coastal paradise, popular for its calming vibes, velvety-soft ivory sand and aquamarine waters. Sunset viewing is a popular activity at Radhanagar beach for which tourists start gathering here at 4:30 PM. Enjoy a scenic sunset and a beautiful sky painted in pink and orange colours. 

Sunset timing at Radhangar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:15 PM

Back to hotel: After sunset viewing and beach relaxation, get a smooth transfer back to the hotel. 

Overnight Stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast/Lunch

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, complete your check out process and wait with your luggage in the lobby. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty.

At Havelock Jetty: Board the cruise that will take you back to Port Blair. The estimated transfer time from Havelock Island to Port Blair is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Note: The departure time of ferries from Havelock Island to Port Blair begins from 8:00 AM. Our team will share the exact ferry schedule with you. 

Arrive in Port Blair: Our team’s representative will meet you at Phoenix Bay Jetty and drop you at Veer Savarkar Airport. The estimated transfer time from Port Blair’s Phoenix Bay to Veer Savarkar Airport is 15 – 20 minutes. 

Important Note: Please book your return flight from Port Blair in the afternoon, at 1:00 PM or later. This ensures sufficient time for a smooth and comfortable transfer between Havelock Island to Port Blair without any rush. 

Your 3 day Andaman tour concludes with the airport drop-off. We part ways and wish you a happy and safe journey.
