Detailed Itinerary(4 Nights and 5 Days)

2 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 1 Night Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) — 1 Night Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Welcome to Andamans: Fly down to Port Blair from your city and you will meet AndamanTourism.org’s representative at the airport. Receive a car transfer from the airport to the hotel, check in and retreat to your room. 

Note: 

• The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 
• All transfers by a spacious and well-maintained car.

Late Afternoon: Your sightseeing will begin with Port Blair’s historic landmark: Cellular Jail which was used by the British colonial government to imprison Indian revolutionaries. The monument is a solemn and grim chapter in the book of India’s freedom struggle. 

Tea Break: After exploration, have a cup of tea and enjoy the views of sunset to refresh yourself. 

Light & Sound Show: Get more insights on the history of Cellular Jail, life of prisoners, and India’s struggle for independence with the Light & Sound Show. The gripping narrating and laser lights creates an interesting show.

Please Note:

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular Jail, Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Early Morning: Start your day early and get ready for a pick up by our team’s representative. You will receive a transfer from the to Phoenix Bay/Haddo Jetty. 

Note: Both Haddo and Phoenix Bay Jetty are approximately 9 kms from Port Blair main city centre and take about 25 – 30 minutes to reach. 

At Phoenix Bay/Haddo Jetty: You will cruise to Havelock Island, which is home to spectacular beaches and tropical splendour. The cruise to Havelock Island will be via Makruzz – Premium Class / Nautika – Luxury Class. 

Note: The ferry time from Port Blair to Havelock will be from 7:30 AM onwards. If you wish to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. 

Note: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Hotel Check- in: Our on-ground coordinator will revive you at the Havelock jetty and transfer to the hotel. Keep your valid IDs ready for a smooth check in and rest in your room. Afterwards, you and your family will head to watch a sunset at Radhanagar beach. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Around 4:30 PM, depart for Radhanagar Beach (Beach No 7) with our tour coordinator. This beach is ideal for families and kids. You can enjoy a peaceful stroll, watch a captivating sunset, and chase the gentle waves.  

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Photography: Avail your professional complimentary beach photoshoot that will freeze the beautiful memories of family vacation. The sunset, orange-pink and sky, the vastness of the Bay of Bengal offers a perfect backdrop for your photos.

Back to hotel: Get transfer to the hotel and catch a good night’s sleep.

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty. Board a boat and cruise towards the most zestful beaches in Havelock Island, the Elephant Beach. 

Note: Alternatively, you can also get to Elephant beach through jungle trekking. The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 40  minutes. 

Elephant Beach: The top spot in Havelock for water sports and coral spotting, Elephant beach is a fun attraction  to visit on Andaman family trip. Avail your one free snorkelling session and go coral spotting which are visible at just 1 – 2 meters of depth. You can also spot reef fish, sea cucumbers, sea anemones, and if you’re lucky, you may also spot a sea turtle swimming around.

Note: 

1.  Apart from one free snorkelling session, any additional water activities like parasailing, jet skiing, glass bottom boat ride etc. can be availed on a direct payment basis. Just inform us prior. 
2. If the Elephant beach trip gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (like bad weather or rough sea conditions) complimentary activity like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed.  
3. Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. 
4. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.
5. Kindly keep your personal belongings such as mobile phone, wallet, etc. safe. 

Departure & Cruise to Neil Island: Return to Havelock Island and board a ferry that will take you to Neil island. After hotels check in, proceed to Neil Island. Check in at the hotel and head out to explore the beautiful Laxmanpur Beach. 

Sunset at Laxmanpur Beach: Watch a mesmerising sunset at Laxmanpur Beach No. 1 and relish sacks on the beach with your family. Lay down on a beach mat and enjoy the blissful moments with your loved ones. 

Stargazing (optional):  If you stay long enough on the beach, you can also enjoy watching the stars when there aren’t any clouds. Later, you can enjoy a family dinner at a nearby restaurant or a cafe. (payable by you)

Back to hotel: After a Laxmanpur Beach exploration and dinner, receive a transfer by our tour coordinator and relax at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Neil Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Today, enjoy another beach trip with your family on Neil Island. You will be exploring Bharatpur Beach which is a hub for all the engaging water activities. Indulge in activities like sofa rides, glass bottom boat rides, jet skiing, etc. on a direct payment basis.

Cruise to Port Blair: Head to Neil Jetty, where you will board the private cruise and return to Port Blair and disembark at Phoenix Bay Jetty. 

Shopping in Port Blair: Before heading back to the hotel, go shopping in Port Blair and buy some souvenirs from Aberdeen Bazaar, which has both big and small stores that sell amazing items. You can also enjoy a lovely dinner with your family outside, since it’s your last night in Port Blair. 

Hotel Drop-off: Transfer to hotel and stay the night. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Post breakfast and hotel check out, get a swift airport drop off by our tour representative. The estimated transfer time from the hotel to Veer Savarkar Airport is 20 – 25 minutes. 

Departure: After your drop off at the airport, we say goodbye to each other and wish you a happy and pleasant flight back home. Return home with the cherished memory of Andaman Island.
