Detailed Itinerary(5 Nights and 6 Days)

(3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep))

You shall be welcomed at the Airport after you arrive at Port Blair in the morning/afternoon by flight. Our representative from AndamanTourism.org will be waiting outside the airport with a placard of your name on it. You shall be assisted with your luggage and dropped at your hotel for rest and relaxation.

Towards the early evening, we shall then proceed to visit the Historic Cellular Jail Museum. Here you get acquainted with the rich history of the Andaman Islands and get valuable insights into the struggle of the freedom fighters. This place will instil the burning rage of patriotism in your heart and no Andaman trip can be complete without a visit to the Cellular Jail.

To make the day even more exciting, you can have evening tea along with a panoramic sea view and a gorgeous sunset from Cellular Jail premises. We then proceed from the view point to visit the Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail. Stay mesmerized by the history of our national struggle through a maze of surreal lights, reverberating narration and appropriate music.

After that you shall be dropped back to your hotel for an overnight stay at Port Blair.

Note: The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. All transfers are in private AC cabs (Toyota Rumion / Ertiga / Scorpio). If you prefer a Toyota Innova Crysta (at an additional cost), please inform our team in advance.

On Day 3, you shall be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the Jetty. You shall be dropped at Port Blair Jetty to board the high-speed catamaran for your cruise to the most beautiful Island of Andaman – the Havelock Island. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Haddo or Phoenix Bay Jetty to catch your ferry.

Note: Both Haddo and Phoenix Bay Jetty are approximately 9 kms from Port Blair main city centre and take about 25 – 30 minutes to reach. 

As you embark upon the much awaited private cruise to Havelock Island via Makruzz – Premium Class / Nautika – Luxury Class, you shall be able to enjoy the scenic views as you sail across the sea. It is the most-visited island of the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago and home to two stunning beaches: Radhanagar Beach and Elephant Beach.

Note: The approximate time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is around 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather or the ferry service chosen. 

After reaching Havelock Island, you shall be assisted in your hotel check in. Later you shall visit the calm and peaceful Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7) at about 3 PM. This is famous for being catalogued as Asia’s Best Beach by Time magazine in 2004. Spend a memorable evening by gazing at the sea watching the mesmerizing sunset from the famous and stunning Radhanagar beach. You need to be mindful of the early sunset at this part of the Enjoy the serenity and solitude of Radhanagar beach. Enjoy doing nothing and relaxing at the powdery white sandy beaches. After the visit to the  Radhanagar Beach, we shall drop you back at your hotel for an overnight stay at Havelock Island of Andaman.

We shall also offer a professional complimentary beach photoshoot to preserve the special memory that will cherish down the memory lane. The scenic beauty of Radhanagar Beach will act as a brilliant backdrop for gorgeous photography. The hues of the skies can also be caught on camera at the dusk hours of Radhanagar Beach when the russet skies meet the glowing seas with the reflection of the setting sun. Make the most of it. You can even go for a paid shoot at your own expense in the nearby ancient jungles for a romantic memory to be preserved for life.

Back to hotel: After having dinner at one of the nearby restaurants, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Havelock Island. In case you are accommodated in a hotel by the sea, you can spend the night listening to the incessant sound of the waves.

Additional activities: For Couples or Family who wish to capture more of the island memories can take up Forest Photoshoot, Post Wedding Shoot, Reels and Cinematic Videos as per the requirements. Ferry Class upgrade (at an additional cost) can be done post the online booking by dropping an email to our team and by sharing the preference. After breakfast at the Havelock hotel, get transferred to Elephant beach via a service boat cruise. This day is scheduled for an exciting visit to the Elephant beach by boat and here you shall encounter the thrill and magic of water sports activities and corals that are clearly visible underwater from a metre. Elephant beach is one of the most popular places on Havelock Island for water sports and the thrill of underwater activities. Alternatively, you can reach Elephant beach through an adventurous jungle trekking.

This beach features an impressive coral belt, shallow waters, and myriad of water sports activities. Parasailing, jet skiing, diving and coral spotting are some of the most popular activities to do on Elephant Beach (apart from one complementary snorkelling session, other activities shall be on payment basis).

Note: 

• Arrive at the beach as early as possible to avoid the gradually building up mid-day crowd.
• The jet ski rental on Elephant beach ranges between ₹600 to ₹700/-  per person and the ride lasts for 10 to 15 minutes.
• Always carry extra cash in your bag for personal expenses. The Internet might not be available to make online payments.
• There will be locker facilities to keep your belongings when you go for underwater trips
• There will also be an underwater photo and video session by professionals offered in the package which will be optional and you need to pay extra.
• There shall be no refund provided for complimentary snorkelling if the trip does not take place because of weather conditions/government guidelines
• You can also opt for add-on activities at the Elephant Beach on direct personal/individual payment basis. Joyful activity list will include  Sea Walking, Semi-Submarine, Parasailing, Banana Ride, Sofa Ride, Sea Scooter
  Please note that the snorkelling activity cannot be transferred or availed at any other island or location. Neither can it be exchanged for some other activity.

Later in the day after having fun at the Elephant beach, you shall be transferred to the hotel for check-out and then dropped at the Havelock jetty for your cruise to Neil Island. On arrival, transfer to your resort and refresh.

Towards evening go for Laxmanpur beach sunset to enjoy one of Neil Island’s most spectacular sunsets. Linger on at the Laxmanpur Beach even after sunset to have a feel of the joy of stargazing, a serene experience under the clear island sky. Overnight Stay at Neil Island at your resort.

Stargazing Tips:

• Ideal months for stargazing are from November to April for clear skies and minimal rainfall.
• Perfect timing would be right after sunset when the sky gets darker, usually 6:30 PM onwards.
• The best viewing time is between 8:00 PM and midnight when the stars are most
• Full moon nights to be avoided for a darker sky and better visibility of constellations.
• Carry binoculars for enhancing the experience.
• Carry camera with Night Mode for capturing the Milky Way or star trails.
• Tripod is must for stable long-exposure shots.
• You can use stargazing apps like Sky Map or Star Walk 2 to identify constellations.

Carry a beach mat or light foldable chair to sit comfortably

Scuba Diving is a primary attraction for all Andaman tours. On Day 4, we shall guide you for the most amazing activity on the islands, Scuba Diving. During this tour, we shall pick you up from the hotel early in the hours and reach the amazing reef to experience the magical Scuba Diving. A certified Divemaster will accompany you underwater and he takes you to the depths of the reef. The marine life in Havelock Island is amazing and you will for sure love the experience here. Photos and videos of your underwater dive come as complimentary during the underwater experience.

After enjoying this activity, we shall drop you back at your hotel to refresh and relax. Just before sunset we shall pick you and guide you to experience the beauty of the rich mangrove biodiversity of Havelock Island through a thrilling kayaking expedition. Havelock Island kayaking is famous across the world that enables you to explore the deep mysticism of the mangroves at Havelock Andamans. Sea kayaking into the open Andaman Sea at sunset amidst darkening waters is immensely more thrilling compared to usual kayaking experiences.  Spend a memorable evening kayaking around Havelock Island. After this invigorating trip we drop you back to your hotel for an overnight stay at Havelock for an even more exciting next day of Andaman tour.

Notes:

• Kayaking in Havelock falls under two different categories. One is day kayaking for general sightseeing and the other is night kayaking to experience the gorgeous bioluminescence.
• Kayaking fees vary, with night kayaking sometimes costing around ₹2,500-₹3,500 per person.
• These Andaman kayaking expeditions into the open seas require a safety life jacket mandatorily provided by the service providers.

On Day 5, visit the strikingly beautiful Kalapathar Beach on Havelock Island. The eye-catching contrast created by the black rocks on the powdery sandy white beach is a fetish for a nature lover. Andaman is known for its exquisite beaches and this beach is ideal for clicking exclusive pictures. After this trip you shall be guided to a cruise back to Port Blair from Havelock Island. Enjoy the beautiful cruise ride at the Andaman sea via a high-speed catamaran. Catch the fresh sea breeze and open sunshine. After you reach back to Port Blair, our representative shall attend you and take you for a shopping experience.

Note:

You can plan to visit the Samudrika Naval Marine Museum, Anthropological Museum, Forest Museum (Chatham Saw Mill), or Fisheries Museum at Port Blair if your flight time is later in the afternoon on the last day of the tour (this is optional and will incur extra cost).
