Detailed Itinerary(6 Nights and 7 Days)

4 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 1 Night Havelock (Swaraj Dweep), 1 Night Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Airport Pickup & Hotel Check in: Arrive in Port Blair by a morning flight and our tour coordinator will be waiting for you at the airport. After a quick meet and greet, get a private car transfer and reach your hotel. Complete the check in formalities and relax in your room. 

Note: 

The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 

The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 

Early hotel check-in is subject to availability.

All transfers by a spacious and well-maintained car.

Cellular Jail Visit: Depart for Cellular Jail, a colonial prison (now a memorial) where Indian revolutionaries were held captive and subject to many brutalities. The jail has a central tower and seven radial wings with each wing having three stories. You will also find arts galleries, a museum and a library with many books on India’s independence

Tea Break: Enjoy a cup of tea with an amazing view of sunset and the Bay of Bengal. 

Light & Sound Show: Post relaxation, take your seats to watch the Light & Sound Show.  The use of dramatic lighting and captivating narration creates a gripping environment and you get to hear the story of India’s freedom struggle and plight of the inmates at Cellular Jail. The runtime of the show is 45 minutes.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular Jail and the Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped off at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Early Morning:  Stay ready for an early morning pickup as today you will be going to Baratang Island located between South and Middle Andamans. Starting from your hotel, we will move towards  Jirkatang Check Post, 42 kilometers from Port Blair and from here our convoy will leave for Baratang Island. 

Towards Baratang Island: Taking the Great Andaman Trunk Road, we will go through Jarawa Tribal Reserve, which is a protected area. Crossing through the jungles, we will reach Baratang jetty.

Note: On your way to Baratang Caves, you may see people of the Jarawa tribes. Please note that tourists are not allowed to click photos or interact with the members of the tribe. It is important to respect their privacy.

Limestone Caves: From  Baratang jetty, board a boat and cross through the Mangrove creek. This boat ride will lead you to the trekking point where you will deboard and start a trek to Limestone Caves of Baratang. Inside the cave, you will see the rock structures hanging from the ceiling are called stalactites and the ones protruding from the floor are stalagmites. 

Travel Tips: 

1. Wear strong sturdy shoes and keep your feet firmly on the ground while inside the cave.
2. Always use a steady flashlight as there could be bats inside the cave. 
3. Carry an insect/mosquito repellent with you.
4. Listen to the instructions of the tour coordinator/guide carefully and stay in a group.  

Overnight stay in Port Blair: Using the same route, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Hotel pick up and transfer to Aberdeen Jetty. Board a boat to Ross Island (Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Dweep) and later to North Bay Island (Coral Island). 

Ross Island: The transfer time from Port Blair to Ross Island is 15 minutes. The island was once referred to as ‘Paris of East’. However, today you will find colonial ruins covered in moss and algae. There are run down structures, administrative units, an old dilapidated church. You can click photos of deer, peacocks, and other birds wandering freely around.

North Bay Island is 30 minutes from Ross Island. 

North Bay Island: Enjoy a fun family at North Bay Island aka Coral Island. The island is a major hotspot for all the thrilling water sports like sofa rides, boat scuba diving, snorkelling, glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, etc. (all water sports at your expense). North Bay Island is one of the best places in Andaman to spot corals and marine life.

Travel Tips 

• Make sure to carry beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for this island trip. 
• North Bay Island offers facilities of washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
• Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental. Digital payments may not be available due to lack of strong internet connection. 
• The estimated cost for snorkelling in North Bay Island is INR 700 – 800 per person. Whereas the estimated cost of Glass Bottom Boat Ride is INR 500 – 600 per person

Depart from North Bay Island: Board the boat and cruise back to Port Blair. The estimated transfer time to reach Port Blair is 35 to 40 minutes. Our tour coordinator will drop your family at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair.

Hotel Pick up: Get an early morning pick up and transfer to Phoenix Bay jetty. You will be travelling to one of the best islands of Andaman archipelago: Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). 

Note: The morning cruise from Port Blair to Havelock starts at 7:30 AM for which you have to depart the hotel at 6:00 am – 6:30 am. If you want to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. 

At Phoenix Bay: Board the high-speed ferry (Makruzz – Premium Class or Nautika – Luxury Class) from Port Blair. Settle down in your seats and enjoy the views of the Bay of Bengal,  as you cruise towards Havelock Island. 

Note: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Welcome to Havelock Island: Disembark from your journey and get assistance with luggage and transfer to the hotel by our tour coordinator. Complete the hotel check in and head to your room for rest and relaxation. Later in the day, our representative will pick you for Radhanagar Beach visit. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Enjoy the golden hours when the sun setting into the horizon paints a lovely picture. You will be thoroughly impressed by the  crystal clear waters, clean white sand, and greenery at Radhanagar Beach. The gentle waves and cool sea breeze are perfect for de-stressing yourself.  

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Photography: Get a professional complimentary beach photoshoot of your Andaman family vacation. Capture lovely memories of yourself and your family at the beach. The golden hour is also a perfect time to take silhouette photography.

Back to hotel: Our tour coordinator will drop you and your family back to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Cruise to Neil Island: Start your day with breakfast and complete the hotel check out. Get a comfortable transfer to Havelock Jetty and board a private ferry to Neil island. The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Neil Island is 1 to 1.5 hours.

Welcome to Neil Island: Our on-ground representative on Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) will receive you at Neil Jetty. Then you will be transferred to the hotel to check in and relax. Afterwards, depart for Natural Rock Formation & Laxmanpur Beach No. 1. 

Visit Natural Rock Formation (Howrah Bridge): One of the most photographed places on Neil Island is the Natural Rock Formation. This fascinating geological structure is made up of limestone and dead corals and has gotten its shape by years and years of oceanic activity. . Enjoy clicking photos and spot marine life in small circular ponds.  

Please note that Howrah Bridge is only accessible during low tide. 

Things to Know about Natural Rock Formation
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes. 

Sunset at Laxmanpur Beach No. 1: After photos, we move to Laxmanpur Beach No. 1, which is an amazing sunset point. Post sunset viewing, enjoy a beach walk, and have refreshments at the beach. Later, if the sky isn’t cloudy, you can also stay back at the beach to do star gazing. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel and rest well in your room.

The sunset timing is generally between 5:15 pm to 5:20 pm.

Overnight stay in Neil Island

Morning: Savour a lovely breakfast with your family at the hotel. Today, you will explore Bharatpur Beach  before saying farewell to Neil island. 

Bharatpur Beach: One of the most beautiful beaches in Neil Island, Bharatpur beach is blessed with clean crystal clear waters and abundant coral reefs. It’s an exciting place to participate in water sports for families. You can try banana boat rides or sofa rides on an extra payment basis. 

Cruise to Port Blair: Post beach visit, get back to the hotel and check out. Then, you will be transferred to Neil Jetty to board the cruise towards Port Blair. The estimated transfer time is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Arrive in Port Blair: Our coordinator will receive you at Phoenix Bay jetty and before going to the hotel, we will explore Aberdeen Bazaar. 

Shopping: Buy souvenirs like Nicobarese mats, miniature ship models, coir and jute products, spices, pearls, sea shell jewellery etc. from Aberdeen Bazaar. After that, our tour coordinator will drop you at the hotel.

Overnight stay in Port Blair

Meal Included: Breakfast

Airport Drop-off: After breakfast, pack your bags  and check out from the hotel on time. Our tour coordinator will provide you with a quick airport transfer. Please note that if your flight is scheduled later in the day, you have to keep your luggage in the lobby or reception area. The estimated transfer time from the hotel to the airport is approximately 25 – 30 minutes.
