Detailed Itinerary(6 Nights and 7 Days)

3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram), 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), 1 Night Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Arrive at Port Blair airport via morning/afternoon flight and receive a swift transfer by AndamanTourism.org’s team coordinator. Get assistance with luggage and hotel check in and move to your booked room for rest and relaxation. 

Note: 

The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 

The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 

Early hotel check-in is subject to availability.

All transfers by a spacious and well-maintained car.

Cellular Jail Visit: In the late afternoon, we leave for Cellular Jail, the famous landmark in Andaman’s capital. Explore the hallways, corridors, art galleries, a museum and a library inside the Cellular Jail.

Tea Break: Enjoy a cup of tea with an amazing view of sunset and the Bay of Bengal. 

Light & Sound Show: Gather in the central area to watch the Light & Sound show narrating the history of Cellular Jail. The show lasts for about 45 minutes and offers deep insights on India’s freedom struggle.

Please Note:

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular Jail and the Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Early Morning: Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel between 6:00 – 7:00 AM and provide a smooth transfer to Wandoor Jetty. 

The estimated travel time from Port Blair’s main city centre to Wandoor Jetty is 50 minutes via NH 4 and SH8.

At Wandoor Jetty: Board a boat from Wandoor Jetty and transfer to Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, home to Jolly Buoy Island. Within an hour, you will reach Jolly Buoy Island. 

At Jolly Buoy Island: Enjoy your time at Jolly Buoy Island, a pristine and protected area for marine life. It boasts rich and colourful marine life including coral reefs and various fish species like clownfish, parrotfish, starfish, and sea cucumbers. The option of swimming and glass bottom boat ride is available at extra cost. 

Please note

• Jolly Buoy Island is accessible typically from October/November to April/May.

• The trip to Jolly Buoy Island is subject to weather conditions and government regulations.

• If Jolly Buoy Island is closed, we can arrange a trip to Red Skin Island which provides a similar experience. 

• There are no commercial establishments or shops on Jolly Buoy Island as it’s a part of Marine National Park. 

• The Island has a strict No Plastic Policy. Please do not carry plastic bottles, straws, bags etc. with you on your trip.

Back to Port Blair: Arrive at Wandoor Jetty, using the same route return to Port Blair. The rest of the day is free for leisure. If you want any attractions included for extra cost, let us know. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair 

Meal Included: Breakfast/Lunch

Morning: Get a comfortable transfer from the hotel to Phoenix Bay jetty. Today, you will be visiting Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), a beautiful coastal paradise. Phoenix Bay is 9 kms from Port Blair main city centre and takes about 25 – 30 minutes to reach.

Note: The morning cruise from Port Blair to Havelock starts at 7:30 AM for which you have to depart the hotel at 6:00 am – 6:30 am. If you want to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. 

At Phoenix Bay: From here, you will be cruising to Havelock Island. Board the ferry (Makruzz – Premium Class or Nautika – Luxury Class) from Port Bair to Havelock. The boarding typically starts an hour before the departure time. Our tour coordinator will provide the needed assistance. 

Note: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Arrive at Havelock Island: Our on-ground staff will welcome you at Havelock Jetty. Transfer to the hotel and complete the check in. Move to your room to refresh and relax. Later in the day, depart for Radhanagar Beach. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Enjoy the tropical charm and tranquil vibes of Radhanagar beach (recognised as one of the best beaches in Asia). Watching the sunset is here among the most popular activities to do with your loved ones. Enjoy a beach walk or sit back and relax during the golden hour. 

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Back to hotel: Our coordinator will drop you and your family back to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Hotel Pickup: Get a seamless pick up from the hotel to Havelock Jetty and board a boat that will take you to Elephant Beach. The estimated time to reach Elephant beach is 35 minutes. 

Note: You can also get to Elephant beach through jungle trekking. The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 40 minutes by trekking.  

Elephant Beach: The crescent-shaped white sand beach is a buzzing hub of water sports on Havelock Island. Elephant beach boasts rich coral belts and various types of fish such as clownfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, etc. Get your free snorkeling session and spot sea anemones, sea cucumbers, hard and soft corals, etc.

Note: Any other water sports such as scuba diving, sea bed walking, glass bottom boat ride, etc. can be availed on a direct payment basis.

• Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
• Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 
• Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.

Return: Board a boat and return to Havelock Island afterwards get transferred to the hotel. You can also visit a cafe/restaurant and enjoy the nightlife of Havelock before returning to the hotel. 

Overnight Stay in Havelock Island

Cruise to Neil Island: Have breakfast and complete the hotel check out. Thereafter, our tour coordinator will provide a comfortable transfer to Havelock Jetty. Board a private ferry to Neil island. The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Neil Island is 1 to 1.5 hours.

Welcome to Neil Island: Get a warm welcome by our on-ground representative at Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) and receive a quick transfer to the hotel. Keep your IDs ready for smooth check in and refresh yourself. Afterwards, depart for Natural Rock Formation & Laxmanpur Beach No. 1. 

Visit Natural Rock Formation (Howrah Bridge): The sightseeing at Neil Island begins with the Natural Rock Formation. It is a fascinating geological  structure made up of limestone and dead corals. Enjoy clicking photos and spot marine life in small circular ponds.  

Please note that Howrah Bridge is only accessible during low tide. 

Things to Know about Natural Rock Formation
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes. 

Sunset at Laxmanpur Beach No. 1: Then, we move to Laxmanpur Beach No. 1 where you will bask in the sunset. The sunset timing is generally between 5:15 pm to 5:20 pm. Post sunset viewing, you can have refreshments at the beach. And if the sky isn’t cloudy, you can also stay back at the beach to do some star gazing. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel and rest well in your room.

Overnight stay in Neil Island

Morning: Savour a lovely breakfast at your Neil Island hotel. Today, you will depart for Bharatpur Beach and enjoy your time there. 

Bharatpur Beach: Welcome to Bharatpur Beach, the zesty beach of Neil Island. This beach is famous for its quintessential tropical beauty and numerous water sports. The beach has shallow and clear waters enriched with coral reefs. You can click photos in the lagoon area.

Cruise to Port Blair: Post beach visit, get back to the hotel and check out. Then, you will be transferred to Neil Jetty to board the cruise towards Port Blair. The estimated transfer time is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Arrive in Port Blair & Explore Aberdeen Bazaar: Disembark from your journey and afterwards go shopping in Aberdeen Bazaar to buy souvenirs. You can pick items like Nicobarese mats, miniature ship models, coir and jute products, spices, pearls, sea shell jewellery etc. After that, our tour coordinator will drop you at the hotel.

Airport Drop-off: Keep your luggage ready and check out from the hotel on time. Our tour coordinator will provide you with a seamless airport transfer. Please note that if your flight is scheduled later in the day, you have to keep your luggage in the lobby or reception area. The estimated transfer time from the hotel to the airport is approximately 25 – 30 minutes.
