Detailed Itinerary(7 Nights and 8 Days)

(3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Diglipur Island — 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep))

Morning: Arrive at Veer Savarkar Airport by a morning flight. Post arrival, our tour coordinator will attend you and escort you to the hotel. The transfer time from the airport to the hotel is around 20 – 25 minutes. 

Hotel Check-in: Complete your hotel check in at the reception and proceed towards your room. Enjoy a meal and unwind from the long journey. 

Late Afternoon (4:00 PM): Leave for sightseeing tour. For today, you will be visiting Cellular Jail (Kala Pani). Explore the premises of this historic site which was once a colonial prison. Its museum exhibits items such as photographs, letters, documents etc. belonging to convicts. 

In the late evening, watch a Light & Sound show at Cellular Jail that provides more historical information and insights to this monument.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)

Overnight stay in Port Blair: Return to the hotel via car transfer by our tour coordinator and get a restful sleep.

Morning (4:00 AM – 5:00 AM): Day 2 of Experience Andaman tour begins at dawn. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and we will begin our excursion from South Andamans to North Andaman’s Diglipur Island. 

Things to Know: 

1. An early morning start is important because the journey towards Diglipur via Baratang takes almost an entire day.  
2. Port Blair to Baratang island is approximately 100 kms and transfer time varies from 4 hours 45 minutes to 5 hours.
3. The trip from Baratang to Diglipur takes another 8-9 hours. You will be crossing Rangat, Billiground, and Mayabunder. 
4. There are no fancy cafes/restaurants on the way so carry refreshments for the journey. 

Baratang Island: From Port Blair, we will arrive at the checkpoint and then our convoy will pass through the tropical jungles and Jarawa Tribal Reserve. Please note that photography is prohibited while crossing the tribal reserve. Afterwards, we reach  Baratang island. Here you can ride through the mangrove creek and watch  the limestone cave. 

Towards Diglipur: Continue your journey to Diglipur Island via Rangat and Mayabunder. The estimated travel time from Baratang Island to Diglipur Island is 8 to 9 hours. 

Late Evening: Around 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, you will arrive at the pre-booked accommodation in Diglipur. Check in and enjoy your meal for the day. Following that, stay the night at the resort. 

Overnight stay in Diglipur Island

Morning: Prepare for an exciting island excursion to Twin Islands (Ross & Smith Islands) in North Andamans. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Our tour coordinator will transfer you to Aerial Bay, which is approximately 9 km from Diglipur. 

Note: Ross & Smith islands lie 20 kms from Diglipur and take about 30 – 35 minutes to reach. 

Arrive at Ross & Smith Islands: Disembark from your journey and set foot on Twin Island. This coastal paradise is a group of islands joined together by narrow sandbars. The islands present an untouched and pristine tropical radiance. Appreciate the clear aquamarine waters, velvety sand, all backed by a verdant boundary of tropical forest. 

What to do at Twin Islands?: Sunbathe or swim/snorkel in the shallow sections near the beach. Watch and appreciate gorgeous marine life, including reef fish and colourful coral reefs.

Note: Ross & Smith Islands do not have any commercial facilities like restaurants, cafes, or water sports. However, there are a few bamboo huts and changing rooms for visitors. Also note that there are no lifeguards on the beaches. If you don’t feel confident about swimming or snorkelling without a guide or an instructor, please avoid it.

Afternoon (3 PM): Then we head to one of the secluded beaches (without any large tourist crowds) of North Andamans i.e. Kalipur Beach. Set foot on its soft sands featuring a greyish/ashy colour and contrasting it is the turquoise waters and the blue sky. Kalipur beach is a significant site for turtle nesting. During the turtle nesting season, you can see four different species of turtles which are: Leatherback, Hawksbill, Green, and Olive Ridley turtles.

Note: Kalipur Beach isn’t commercialised yet, it’s rather a nesting site for turtles. The best time for watching turtles on Kalipur Beach is from October to March.

Evening: Our tour coordinator will drop you at the resort in Diglipur.

Overnight stay in Diglipur. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Enjoy your meal and get ready to leave from Diglipur. Check out from the resort and transfer to Port Blair. You will cross Mayabunder, Rangat, Baratang, and Jarawa Tribal Reserve before arriving in Port Blair. On our way back, we will stop by picturesque locations for photos and rest. 

Note: The estimated transfer time from Diglipur Island to Port Blair is 10 – 12 hours.

Late Evening: After this long and tiring day of travel, arrive in Port Blair and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay will be in Port Blair. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Today, you will be leaving for an exciting island excursion towards Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). The island is famous for its lush vegetation, beautiful beaches, water sports and a laid-back yet fun nightlife. Have a quick breakfast at the hotel and get a transfer from the hotel to Phoenix Bay. 

Depart from Phoenix Bay: Arrive at Phoenix Bay and board a high-speed catamaran ferry. Our tour coordinator will assist you with boarding and settling in. Depart for Havelock Island. 

Estimated transfer time from Phoenix Bay to Havelock Island is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Note: The cruises start sailing from Port Blair to Havelock from 7:30 am onwards. We will share the exact timings of the cruise with you beforehand.

At Havelock Jetty: Cruising on the waters of Bay of Bengal, arrive at Havelock Jetty. Get an instant transfer to your hotel by our on-ground coordinator. Check in at the hotel and proceed to your room to rest. 

If you arrive earlier, you can explore the souvenir stalls in Havelock’s market. 

Late Afternoon (4:00 PM): Leave for Radhanagar beach outing and immerse yourself in the exquisite beauty of this tropical paradise. Counted amongst the most beautiful beaches in Asia and considered the best beach in Asia, Radhanagar beach is primarily famous for its sunset views and tranquillity.

Evening (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM): Enjoy dinner at a beach side cafe/restaurant and taste the local delicacies with an admirable view. (at your expense). The Blue Cafe and Nemo Cafe on the Beach are popular for its food and nightlife. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island : Our tour coordinator will attend you and drop you off at the hotel. 

Meal Included: Breakfast 

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and afterwards leave for a beach outing. Our tour coordinator will transfer you to Havelock Jetty. From here, you will get on a boat and ride towards Elephant Beach. The estimated transfer time from Havelock Jetty to the beach is about 15 minutes. 

At Elephant Beach: Land up at Elephant beach, known for its thrilling water sports, turquoise waters, coral reefs, ivory sand, all backed by profuse tropical groves. Many tourists come here to engage in watersports like jet skiing, sea walking, diving etc.

Snorkel at Elephant Beach: Avail your free snorkelling session and experience the magical underwater world. Watch fringing corals and reef fish like clownfish, parrotfish which nibble on coral skeleton, angelfish and sea anemones. After your snorkelling season, you are free to explore this beautiful beach.

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Additional water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, sea walking, jet skiing, etc are not a part of the tour package but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
3. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach)  

Depart from Beach (4:30 PM – 5:00 PM): We depart from Elephant Beach and arrive at Havelock Jetty. From here, you can dine out at a beachside cafe or pub, or go straight to the hotel for rest. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast 

Morning: Check out from the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty. Board a catamaran and cruise back to Port Blair. The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Port Blair is 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours. 

Arrive at Phoenix Bay: From Phoenix Bay, our tour coordinator will drop you back to the hotel. After reaching the hotel, proceed to your room and relax until your next pick up. 

Later Afternoon (4:30  PM): Get a transfer from the hotel to Corbyn’s Cove beach, which is about 8 kms and takes about 10- 15 minutes to reach. Enjoy a lovely sunset on this beach while taking a walk. You can also enjoy refreshments at the beach.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: Depart from Corbyn’s Cove beach and our tour coordinator will drop you back to the hotel. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel on time. Our tour coordinator will provide pick up and drop off from the hotel to the airport. The estimated transfer duration is 20 to 25 minutes.
