Detailed Itinerary(7 Nights and 8 Days)

3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) – 1 Night Baratang — 2 Nights Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) – 1 Night Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Arrive at Port Blair airport and get a smooth hotel transfer provided by our tour coordinator. Check in at the hotel and relax in your room. 

Note: 

The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 

The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 

All transfers are in a private and spacious car. 

Cellular Jail: Begin your sightseeing tour in Port Blair by visiting Cellular Jail. A colonial penal institution where political prisoners, and prisoners of wars were kept in inhumane condition. There are seven radial wings attached to one central tower. The Cellular jail also houses a museum, art gallery and a library. 

Tea Break: Refresh yourself with a cup of tea and catch the sweeping views of the sunset and the sea.  

Light & Sound Show: The Light & Sound show takes place in an open area and it narrates the history of Cellular Jail and the life of prisoners. The strategic use of storytelling, sound effects and laser lighting is done to fascinate and educate the audiences about the history of the place. 

Please Note:

1. Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
2. Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
3. Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
4. (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

Return to Hotel: After Cellular Jail and the Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped-off at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair.

Meal Included: Lunch

Early Morning: Start your day early and be ready for an island excursion. You will receive a car transfer from the hotel and depart for Baratang Island plus Parrot island Trip. 

Baratang Island – Taking the Andaman Trunk Road we will move towards it with a convoy and cross the Jarawa Tribal Reserve, a protected area for the people of Jarawa tribe. We will reach Baratang jetty. Please note that photography while crossing the tribal reserve is not allowed. 

Sightseeing in Baratang: Board a boat and cruise through the beautiful and enchanting mangrove creek. Arrive at the trail point, and from there, a small trek through the jungle will take you to Baratang’s Limestone Cave. Here you can watch the intriguing stalactites and stalagmites formation. 

Travel Tips: 

• Wear strong sturdy shoes and keep your feet firmly on the ground while inside the cave.
• Listen to the instructions of the guide/coordinator while exploring the cave. 
• Always use a steady flashlight as there could be fruit bats inside the cave. 
• Carry an insect/mosquito repellent with you. 

Mud Volcanoes of Baratang: The mud volcanoes of Baratang Island is a peculiar yet fascinating site for most visitors. The mud volcanoes here expel a mixture of mud, gas, and hot water that is pushed forth on the surface. 

Towards Parrot Island (3 PM – 3:15 PM): In the afternoon, we will depart for Parrot Island. Parrot Island is an offbeat and pristine sight where you can spot diverse species of birds, including parrots. 

Overnight stay in Baratang: Return to hotel for an overnight stay in Baratang island. 

Meal Included: Lunch 

Morning: Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and check out and leave for Port Blair. On our way, we will have a stopover at Baludera Beach. 

At Baludera Beach: Located on the eastern coast of Baratang Island, Baludera Beach is a pristine beach exuding raw beauty and calm. The beach features eco-friendly treetop huts and is ideal for lounging around. You can enjoy a beach walk, a quick swimming session, or click photos at the beach. 

Towards Port Blair: After beach exploration, we will move from Baratang (100 km distance) to Port Blair. The estimated transfer time is around 6 – 7 hours, crossing the entire Middle Andaman. 

Overnight Stay in Port Blair.

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Wake up and get ready for the Havelock island excursion. You will receive a transfer from the hotel to Haddo/Phoenix Bay Jetty. 

Note 1: The morning cruise from Port Blair to Havelock starts at 7:30 AM for which you have to depart the hotel at 6:00 am – 6:30 am. If you want to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. The timing of government ferry service is at 6:20 AM and 2:00 PM. 

Note 2: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Arrive in Havelock Island: Get welcomed on Havelock Island by our on-ground staff and transfer to your hotel. Check in at the hotel and relax in your room. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Visit one of Asia’s best beaches, Radhanagar Beach and watch a gorgeous sunset. The changing colours of sky, cool wind and gentle waves makes a perfect scenery at the beach. 

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Photography: Get a professional complimentary beach photoshoot of yourself at Radhanagar Beach. Photography at any other place on Havelock Island will be charged.

Back to hotel: Our tour coordinator will drop you back to the hotel to rest and relax. 

Meal Included: Breakfast/Lunch 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for a beach trip. Our coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and drop you off at Havelock Jetty. 

Today you will be going for a beach adventure. Get picked up from the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty. From there, board a boat and cruise to Elephant Beach. The estimated travel time is 35 minutes. 

At Elephant Beach: Set foot on the crescent-shaped Elephant Beach featuring white sands, crystal-clear waters, and abundant corals. Avail your free snorkelling session and dive in to witness the mesmerising aquatic world. The corals are visible at a depth of 1-2 meters as you dive into the water. Apart from snorkeling, you can enjoy other water activities at extra charges.

 Note

• Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
• Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 
• Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.

Return to hotel: After having a joyful day at Elephant Beach, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Overnight Stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: On day 6th, you will be transferred to Neil Island, the much more laid-back cousin of Havelock Island. Transfer to Havelock Jetty and cruise towards Neil Island )Shaheed Dweep). The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Neil Island is 1.5 – 2 hours depending on weather and sea conditions. 

Neil Island: Arrive at Neil Island and get transferred to the hotel by our tour coordinator. Check in and refresh yourself at the hotel. Later, you will receive a pick up from the hotel and begin your sightseeing tour. 

Natural Rock Formation (Howrah Bridge): Explore one of the most interesting sights of Neil Island – Natural Bridge or Howrah Bridge. The structure was formed by relentless pressure of sea waves and winds. Click photos around it and spot marine creatures thriving in ponds near the natural bridge. 

Please note that Howrah Bridge is only accessible during low tide. If the tides are high, we will head to Laxmanpur Beach no. 1. 

Things to Know about Natural Rock Formation
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes. 

Sunset at Laxmanpur Beach No. 1: Look out for a gorgeous sunset  at Laxmanpur Beach No. 1. Post 4:30 PM, the beach starts getting crowded as everyone wants to see the sunset. The timing of the sunset is between 5:15 pm to 5:20 pm. After sunset, our tour representative will drop you off at the hotel.

Overnight stay in Neil Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and depart for Bharaptur Beach, known for its tropical beauty, coral reefs, and variety of watersports. 

At Bharatpur Beach: Take a beach on the soft white sand and click photos at the lagoon area. There are plenty of water sports to try here such as  kayaking, parasailing, snorkelling, and glass bottom boat ride. (payable directly by you.) 

Cruise to Port Blair: Check out from the hotel and transfer to Neil Jetty.  Board the cruise and depart for Port Blair. The estimated transfer time is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Arrive in Port Blair: Our tour representative in Port Blair will pick you up from  Phoenix Bay Jetty. You can then head for Aberdeen Bazaar for a shopping trip. 

At Aberdeen Bazaar: Explore some great souvenirs in Aberdeen Bazaar, which is Port Blair’s famous market place. You can shop for sea shell jewelleries, organic spices, tribal masks, etc.

Hotel Drop-off: Our tour coordinator will drop you off at the hotel for the night stay. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and check out from the hotel. Please note that hotels have an early check out so if your flight is delayed or scheduled in the afternoon, you have to keep your luggage in the lobby or reception area. 

Airport Drop-off: Our tour coordinator will offer you a seamless transfer to the airport. We wish you a safe and happy return. The estimated transfer time from the hotel to the airport is within 30 minutes.

Important Note LTC Reimbursement 

1. Hotel and food expenses are not eligible for reimbursement under LTC (Leave Travel Concession).

2. Please book your flight only through Ashoka Travels or Balmer Laurie to ensure eligible for LTC reimbursement. 

3. If you plan to claim LTC, use government ferry services for inter-island travel in Andaman Island. However, in some cases, reimbursement for private ferry tickets is generally allowed. You will need to submit the original hard copy of the ticket to your office/government department.
