Detailed Itinerary(8 Nights and 9 Days)

5 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) — 1 Night Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Morning: Arrive in Port Blair with a morning/afternoon flight and get a car transfer to the hotel by our team’s representative. The estimated transfer time is between 25 to 30 minutes. 

Hotel check in: Arrive at the hotel and keep your photo ID proof ready for a smooth hotel check in. Proceed to your room, enjoy a meal and rest well until the sightseeing tour begins. 

Late Afternoon (4:30 PM): Depart for Cellular Jail, one of Port Blair’s most visited attractions. Explore the jail’s architecture, solitary cells and general layout. A museum inside the premises displays personal items of the convicts.

Light & Sound Show: Watch an insightful Light & Show, providing more context and information about this colonial prison (now a memorial).

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)

Overnight stay in Port Blair: Our tour coordinator will drop you back for an overnight stay at the hotel. 

Morning: Post breakfast, receive pick up by our coordinator and begin Andaman adventures with a boat trip to Ross Island (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep) followed by North Bay Island. 

Aberdeen Jetty: A boat ride from Port Blair’s Aberdeen Jetty to Ross Island is just 15-20 minutes in optimal weather conditions. 

At Ross Island: The island is a famous site for witnessing colonial ruins of British administrative buildings including a dilapidated church, swimming pool, hospital, Chief Commissioner’s House, etc. The far stretching aerial prop roots of Banyan trees adds an evocative beauty. Deers and peacocks are also seen roaming on the island.

Travel Tips: 

1. Pack all your beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for island excursions. 
2. North Bay Island offers facilities like washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
3. Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental.

Back to Phoenix Bay (4:30 – 5:00 PM): After this island excursion, get back to Port Blair and receive a hotel drop-off by our tour coordinator. 

Overnight Stay in Port Blair 

Meal Include: Breakfast

Morning: Take an early morning ferry from Phoenix Bay and cruise towards Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), a prime adventurous spot in Andaman Islands. The estimated transfer time from the  Port Blair jetty to reach Havelock Island with a high speed cruise is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

At Havelock Jetty: Disembark from your journey and receive a swift transfer to the hotel where you will check in and relax. Enjoy your meal of the day and catch a breather. 

Late Afternoon (4:30 PM): Depart for Radhanagar Beach, which is amongst Asia’s best beaches and is a key attraction in Andaman. Known as Beach no. 7, Radhanagar Beach is known for its calming environment and beautiful sunsets. Enjoy a sunset view here and stroll along the shoreside.

Evening (7 PM – 8 PM): Enjoy some local delicacies of Andaman at a beach side cafe or a restaurant. Here you can also experience the chill nightlife of Havelock Island. Afterwards, our coordinator will attend you and drop you off at the hotel.  

Overnight Stay in Havelock 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning (8:30 AM – 9:30 AM): Today you will be going on a beach excursion and witness the beauty of the underwater world. Have your breakfast on time and depart for Elephant Beach, known for its velvety-soft white sand, lush groves, and shallow waters with incredible corals, reef fish, and other marine creatures.  

At Havelock Jetty: Cruise towards Elephant Beach which is 30 – 35 minutes away. 

At Elephant Beach: Avail your one free snorkelling session and dive in the shallow turquoise waters near the beach. You will be thrilled to watch underwater scenery and the beautiful creatures. If you are lucky, you can also spot turtles and rays swimming around.

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Additional water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc are not a part of the tour package but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
3. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach)  

Departure: Head back to Havelock Jetty and get a transfer to the hotel to have dinner and rest.

Overnight Stay in Havelock 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Early Morning: Hotel check out and drop off at Havelock jetty. Board the ferry from Havelock Island to Neil Island. Our tour coordinators will provide all the assistance required. 

Note: We will share the exact timings of the ferry before the tour. 

Hotel check-in: Arrive at the hotel, keep your photo ID ready for a smooth check in and have breakfast at the hotel. 

Afternoon/Evening: Visit Bharatpur Beach and enjoy the thrilling banana boating experience. (payable directly by you). If there is another water sport you want to try at Bharatpur Beach, let us know beforehand. 

Sunset at Laxmanpur Beach: After a thrill ride at Bharatpur beach, head to Laxmanpur Beach No 1 to view a calming sunset. The beach also has food stalls selling pakoras, noodles, tea, & coconut water. 

Overnight Stay in Neil island: Our tour coordinator will attend you and drop you back to the hotel. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Start your day with a nourishing breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, we proceed to Natural Rock Formation (formed by dead corals and limestone). This geological marvel is a result of erosion caused by waves of Bay of Bengal. It’s a great photo point on Neil Island and offers opportunities to spot tiny marine creatures during low tide. 

Things to Know: 

– The Natural Rock Formation is only accessible during low tide.
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, sea urchins and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes.

Afternoon (2:00 PM  – 3:30 PM): Take a ferry back to Port Blair and disembark at Phoenix Bay. Our team’s representative will provide a seamless transfer to your hotel. 

Evening (5 PM): Explore the market/shopping centre of Port Blair like Aberdeen Bazar, Sagarika Government Emporium, and F3 Ambience Mall.

Early Morning: Get ready for another day of adventure on an Andaman trip. Today, you will be going to Baratang Island. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and proceed towards the Jirkatang check post. 

Towards Baratang Island: Taking the Andaman Trunk Road, our convoy will cross through the thick jungles and Jawara Tribal Reserve to reach the Bartanag Jetty. The distance from Port Blair to Baatang is 110 km and can be covered in 3 hours. 

Note: While on your way to Baratang Island, you may see people of the Jarawa tribes. Please note that tourists are not allowed to click photos or interact with the members of the tribe. It is important to respect their privacy.

Afternoon: From Baratang Jetty, take a boat ride through mangrove creek where you can spot some tropical birds. You will reach a point where you will begin trekking to Limestone Caves of Baratang. The rock structures hanging from the ceiling are called stalactites and the ones protruding from the floor are stalagmites. 

Travel Tips: 

• Wear strong sturdy shoes and keep your feet firmly on the ground while inside the cave.
• Always use a steady flashlight as there could be bats inside the cave.
• Carry an insect/mosquito repellent with you. 

Visit Mud Volcanoes of Baratang (optional). 

Late Evening: Our tour coordinator will provide a safe and quick transfer back to the hotel.  

Overnight stay in Port Blair 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and today you will be trekking in the thick forest of Mount Harriet National Park (Mount Manipur National Park). Our tour coordinator will pick up from the hotel and transfer to the national park. It is approximately 21 kms from Port Blair and takes 1.5  to 2 hours to get there.

Mount Harriet National Park: Experience the wilderness of this tropical evergreen forest by exploring nature trails and spotting wild animals. You can spot Andaman wild pigs (endangered), Andaman Serpent Eagle, turtles, reptiles, and beautiful butterflies.

Trekking: Short sections of trekking which are 2 to 3 kms loops around Mount Harriet Peak Area which is a suitable distance to cover for most tourists. Get to explore forests, birdwatching, and sea view. 

Back to hotel: After a wonderful day exploring the beauty of Mount Harriet National Park and trekking adventures, head to the  hotel. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and keep your luggage ready in the lobby. Our tour coordinator will transfer you to Veer Savarkar Airport. The estimated airport transfer time is 20 -25 minutes. 

Your 9 days Andaman adventure tour package ends here. Board your flight and we wish you a safe and pleasant journey back home.
