Detailed Itinerary(8 Nights and 9 Days)

3 Nights Port Blair (Shri Vijaya Puram) — 3 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) — 2 Nights Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Arrive at Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram’s) Veer Savarkar airport and our tour representative will pick you up and transfer to the hotel. The estimated airport to hotel transfer time is 20 – 25 minutes. 

Afternoon (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Check in at the hotel with valid photo ID proof and retreat to your room. Enjoy your meal for the day and rest well before sightseeing for the day begins. 

Late Afternoon (4:30 PM): Your sightseeing in Andaman begins with Cellular Jail. This colonial prison was used to hold Indian revolutionaries and other prisoners of war captive. Explore its architecture, museum, photo gallery and solitary confinement cells. 

Light & Sound Show: A Light & Sound show is organised at Cellular Jail premises which is a must-watch spectacle to know about facts and historical context about the monument. The runtime of the show is 45 minutes.

Please Note:

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

 Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular jail visit and Light & Show, our tour coordinator will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and depart for Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Phoenix Bay jetty. 

At Phoenix Bay: Board the sea vessel, settle in comfortably and cruise towards Havelock Island. The estimated transfer time from Port Blair to Havelock Island is 1.5 to 2 hours under normal weather conditions. 

Note: We will inform you about the ferry/catamaran schedule in advance.

Arrival in Havelock Island: You will disembark from your journey and transfer to the hotel for check in and proceed to your room for rest and relaxation. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Around 4:30 PM, you will leave for Radhangar Beach excursion and watch a beautiful sunset there. Enjoy a stroll on the beach and find spots for photography. You can also enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters near the beach.

Back to hotel: Post beach relaxation, get transferred back to the hotel and rest up in your room. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning (8:30 AM – 9:00 AM): Today you will be going on a fun excursion to Elephant Beach. Before your morning transfer, make sure to have breakfast. 

At Havelock Jetty: Board a boat and get to Elephant Beach. The estimated transfer time is 15-20 minutes. 

Note: An alternative way to get to Elephant beach is through jungle trekking which takes about 40 minutes. 

At Elephant Beach: The crescent-shaped beach is perfect for water sports, coral spotting and lounging around. Get your free snorkel session and gear up to dive and experience the underwater world. Witness corals, reef fish, and on a lucky day, you may also spot a sea turtle or ray.

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Additional water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc are not a part of the tour package but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
3. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach)  

Relax at Beach: Enjoy sunbathing at Elephant Beach. You can also sit under a shade and take a nap. Refreshments like fruits, instant noodles, juices, coconut water, etc are also available at the beach. 

Back to Havelock Jetty: Get a boat ride back to Havelock Jetty and transfer back to your hotel. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Early Morning (4:30 AM): The best time to visit Kalapathar Beach is early morning to watch the sunrise. Located on the eastern coast, watch the iridescent glow of the rising sun which bathes everything around it in yellow and orange-ish light. 

At Kalapathar Beach: The sunrise time is typically between 5:00 AM to 5:15 AM. Click photos of the Instagram worthy moment and afterwards you can enjoy a light jog or meditation on the beach.

Breakfast at Hotel: Our tour representative will drop you back to the hotel. Freshen up and savour a delicious breakfast at the hotel. 

Leisure Time: The rest of the day is free for leisure. You can experience the nightlife in Havelock Island. Explore a bar or enjoy a meal at a beach side restaurant/cafe  with a view. (at your expense). Full Moon Café, Venom Bar, and Bonova Café and Pub are some of the most popular spots in Havelock. 

You can also choose to explore beaches like Vijay Nagar and Govind Nagar. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island: Head back to your hotel and stay the night. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and our tour representatives will transfer to Havelock Jetty. 

Towards Neil Island: Board a ferry  and transfer from Havelock Jetty to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). This tiny island of 13.7 km² features stunning beaches, watersports, and a natural rock formation. 

The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Neil Island is 1 to 1.5 hours.

Arrive in Neil Island: Disembark at Neil Jetty and receive a car transfer to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and rest up in your room.  

Bharatpur Beach (3:00 PM): Depart to experience Bharatpur Beach, the liveliest beach in Neil Island. It’s a watersports hub on the island with activities like Banana Boating, Jet Skiing, Diving, Snorkeling, etc. are in full swing. You can also play volleyball at the beach

Back to hotel: After Bharatpur beach visit, you will be dropped to the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Neil Island. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing time. Later, you can explore the small markets in Shaheed Dweep Kendra selling trinkets and souvenirs. 

Late Afternoon: Depart for Natural Rock Formation and click photos of its picturesque views. Witness the structure made up of limestone and dead coral and shaped by oceanic erosion into a bridge-like structure. The Natural Rock Formation is only accessible during low tides. 

Things to Know:
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes. 

Sunset Laxmanpur Beach No. 1: From Natural Rock Formation, move to Laxmanpur Beach No 1. Stroll on the beach and try delicious snacks like pakoras, noodles, etc (at your expense). Between 5:15 pm to 5:20 pm, witness a gorgeous sun setting in the horizon and click photos.

Overnight stay in Neil Island: Our tour coordinator will drop you back at the hotel. After having each outing on Neil Island, get a good night’s sleep.  

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel, complete check out and depart for Neil Jetty. Today you will be going back to Port Blair. Board a morning ferry and within 1.5 to 2 hours, you will arrive in Port Blair. 

At Phoenix Bay: Arrive at Phoenix Bay and our coordinator will drop you off at the hotel. Enjoy your stay until the next pick up. 

Afternoon (2:30 PM): Depart for Chidiya Tapu beach. It’s a paradise for nature lovers, and birdwatchers. The beach is famous for its ethereal sunset and tranquility. The transfer time is approximately 35-40 minutes from the main city center.

Evening (5:30 PM): Get a drop off back to the hotel, have dinner and rest well. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: breakfast at the hotel and prepare yourself for Ross & North Bay Island trip. The former is known for its historic ruins and the latter attracts water sports enthusiasts. 

Depart for Ross Island: Just a 15-minute boat ride away from Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) is Ross Island. Aerial roots of Banyan trees, moss covered colonial ruins and remnants of British and Japanese occupation lie on the island. You will also spot peacocks and deer wandering on the island.

From Ross Island, you will move to beautiful North Bay Island which is approximately 30 minutes away. 

Towards North Bay Island: The prime destination near Port Blair for all the thrilling water sports, North Bay Island is an adventurer’s top destination. The waters surrounding the island are enriched with fringing coral belts and a vibrant marine life. You can enjoy snorkelling, sofa rides, banana boating, etc on North Bay (at your expense). 

Travel Tips: 

1. Pack all your beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for island excursions. 
2. North Bay Island offers facilities like washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
3. Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental.

Back to Hotel (4:30 – 5:00 PM): After this island excursion, get back to Port Blair and receive a hotel drop-off by our tour coordinator. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Breakfast at hotel and check out from the property. Our tour coordinator will provide you a seamless transfer to Veer Savarkar Airport.

Airport Drop: The estimated transfer time from hotel to the airport is 20 – 25 minutes.  Your 9 days Andaman tour concludes, we bid farewell and wish you a pleasant and safe return.
