Detailed Itinerary(4 Nights and 5 Days)

(2 Nights Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) — 2 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram))

Morning: Touch down in Port Blair’s Veer Savarkar Airport and get transferred to Phoenix Bay/Haddo Jetty. Afterwards, you will board a speedboat/ferry and reach Havelock Island. 

Note 1: The estimated transfer time from Port Blair to Havelock is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Note 2: You must arrive in Port Blair before 12 PM to complete the journey to Havelock Island and for a timely check in at the hotel. 

Afternoon (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Check in at the hotel in Havelock Island and enjoy your meal. After a long day of travel, take a rest to energise yourself. 

Overnight stay at the  hotel. 

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for a pick up ride to Kalapathar Beach. This beach is one of the most famous beaches in Havelock Island primarily for its sunrise views, volcanic black rocks, and tranquillity. Go and enjoy swimming, leisurely walks, and photography on the beach.

Transfer Time: 15 – 20 minutes

Afternoon: Relish a delicious lunch at top-rated cafe or restaurant in Havelock Island. 

Late Afternoon  (4 PM): Visit Radhangar Beach (Beach No. 7), which was recognised as Asia’s Best Beach by Time Magazine in 2004. Over the years the beach has won several recognitions on accounts of cleanliness, safety, management & sustainable practices. 

Watch the changing hues of sky as the sun sets slowly into the horizons. It is one the best views to catch at Radhanagar beach, which is famous for its sunset and profound beauty.  After beach exploration, you can head out for dinner in a nearby restaurant.

Transfer to hotel: After having dinner at one of the nearby restaurants, our tour coordinator will drop you at the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Elephant Beach via boat (20-30 minutes). Alternate way: Jungle trekking of 40-50 minutes. 

Elephant beach features shallow waters, abundant corals, and plethora of water sports. Enjoy a complimentary snorkelling session at this beach and spot vibrant marine creatures.

Note: 

1. Early arrival on the beach helps to avoid mid-day crowds and let you have a more peaceful experience on the beach. 
2. Jet ski rentals start from INR 600/- to INR 700/- per person and the ride lasts from 10 to 15 minutes. 
3. Parasailing costs around INR 3500 to INR 4000/- per person, but may actually differ depending on season, demand, and other variables. 
4. Bring flip-flops/water shoes, extra-pair of clothes, sunglasses, waterproof bag to keep your valuables like (wallet, mobile phone safe).

Afternoon: Transfer to Havelock Jetty and sail back to Port Blair. Hotel check in and rest.

Evening: Go out for a shopping spree in Aberdeen Bazaar to buy souvenirs like Andaman handicrafts, coconut coir items, etc. Have a nice dinner outside at a nearby restaurant (optional). 

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Morning: After an early breakfast, depart for Baratang Island via road. The distance is 110 km and can be covered in 3 hours. Crossing through the jungles, we will reach Baratang jetty. 

Note: While on your way to Baratang Caves, you may see people of the Jarawa tribes. Please note that tourists are not allowed to click photos or interact with the members of the tribe. It is important to respect their privacy.

Afternoon: Enjoy boating through the incredible Mangrove creek that will take you to the point for trekking. This trek will take you to Limestone Caves of Baratang. These caves were formed by limestone contact with slightly acidic rainwater that formed into krasts. The rock structures hanging from the ceiling are called stalactites and the ones protruding from the floor are stalagmites. 

Travel Tips: 

• Wear strong sturdy shoes and keep your feet firmly on the ground while inside the cave.
• Always use a steady flashlight as there could be bats inside the cave. 
• Carry an insect/mosquito repellent with you. 

Evening: Return to hotel for an overnight stay in Port Blair.

Morning: Start your day with a nourishing breakfast at the hotel. Make sure to have a timely check out around 12:00 PM or earlier based on your flight schedule. Keep your luggage ready in the lobby or at the reception area. 

Hotel to Airport Transfer time: 25 – 30 minutes (approximately)

Our tour coordinator will drop you off at Veer Savarkar Airport from where you will board your flight. Return home with enchanting memories of the 4 nights 5 days Havelock & Baratang Getaway.
