Detailed Itinerary(6 Nights and 7 Days)

(2 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 3 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) — 1 Night Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep))

Morning/Afternoon: Arrive in Port Blair by morning/afternoon flight and after clearing formalities, proceed to the exit gate. Get a swift airport transfer to your hotel. Check in at the hotel (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM)  and relax. 

If you arrive early, please note that an early hotel check-in depends on room availability. In such a case, please wait in the lobby area. 

Evening (4:30 PM): Visit the Cellular Jail Museum, a historic monument related to India’s tragic colonial past. Watch the Light & Sound Show that uses audio visual storytelling and shed light on the Cellular Jail history and life of inmates locked in here.

Please Note:

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.
• Professional Camera charges: INR 1000/- per camera. 

Back to Hotel: After the Light & Sound Show, enjoy local Andamanese food like Andaman fish curry, fish platter, etc. at a restaurant. There are also vegetarian options available at the restaurants. 

Get a car transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Morning: Have an early breakfast, take your bags and wait in the lobby. Our tour coordination will pick you up and transfer to Haddo Jetty/Phoenix Bay. 

Note: Haddo Jetty and Phoenix Bay are approximately 9 kms from Port Blair main city centre and take about 25 – 30 minutes to reach. 

At Phoenix Bay: With the help of our tour coordinator, board the speedboat/ferry and settle in. Start cruising towards Havelock Island, the first major destination of your Azure Andaman trip. 

Note: 

• The estimated transfer time from Port Blair to reach Havelock Island is anywhere between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. The transfer time may also vary depending on weather and sea conditions. 
• The high-speed cruise towards Havelock starts at 7:00 PM. In case you don’t want to leave that early, another cruise ply at 8 AM and one after 11 AM. We will inform you about cruise/speed boat timings in advance. 

Hotel Check- in: Between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, check in your hotel and relax at the comfort of your room. Post relaxation, go to Radhanagar Beach for viewing a stunning sunset. 

At Radhanagar Beach: Time Magazine recognised Radhanagar Beach as the best beach in Asia in 2004. And after that, it has been awarded with many recognitions and certifications such as Blue Flag Certification. Till date Radhanagar Beach is the most beautiful and cleanest beach in all of India. Enjoy a therapeutic walk, click photos of the sunset and have a pleasurable time.

Late Evening: After chasing sunset, you might want to explore the nightlife in Havelock by visiting a night lounge or a bar. Alternatively, you can savour a delicious dinner at one of the many affordable yet epicurean restaurants in Havelock Island and enjoy the tropical vibes. 

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning (8:30 AM – 9:00 AM): Post breakfast, get a quick transfer from hotel to Havelock Jetty. Get on the boat and cruise towards Elephant Beach. 

The transfer time from jetty to Elephant beach is 20 – 30 minutes approx.

Afternoon: Elephant Beach is known for its turquoise waters, healthy coral belts with fringing corals and school of colourful tropical fish. Whether it’s a relaxing beach time or engaging yourself in water sports, you’re promised to have a fantastic time on the beach. 

Plus, enjoy a complimentary snorkelling session and discover the beautiful marine life. You can spot parrotfish, clownfish, butterflyfish and remarkable coral reefs. 

Note: 

1. If you want to do any additional water activities like Banana Boating, Parasailing, Jet Skiing etc, at Elephant Beach, kindly inform us prior. It can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
2. In case your trip to Elephant beach gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, etc. then the complimentary activity like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed.  
3. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. because the Internet might not be available to make online payments. 

Evening (4 PM): Click photos with a sunset at your backdrop and afterwards our tour coordinator will meet you. Return to Havelock Jetty and transfer back to the hotel. 

Back to hotel: Return to your hotel for an overnight stay and catch a good night’s sleep.  

Meal Include: Breakfast

Morning (8:30 – 9:30 AM): Post breakfast at the hotel, depart for Kalapathar Beach. Our tour coordinator will provide your seamless transfer from hotel to the beach.

The estimated transfer time between Kalapathar beach and your hotel will be around 20 – 25 minutes. 

At Kalapathar Beach: Witness the beauty of black boulders on a beach featuring powdery soft sand, clean turquoise waters, and greenery. The beach is ideal for stroll, photography, and sunbathing. It’s also a nice picnic spot where you can lay a mat and enjoy a laid-back beach picnic with family.

[Optional]: Later you can visit Vijaynagar Beach (Beach No. 5) and enjoy a peaceful and serene time. This beach is less crowded where you can sit, relax and meditate.  

Back to hotel: After beach visits, head back to the hotel.

Morning: Breakfast and transfer to Havelock Jetty. Board the assigned cruise and get transfer from Havelock to Neil island (Shaheed Dweep). 

The estimated transfer time from Havelock to Neil island is 1 to 1.5 hours, if weather and sea conditions are optimal. 

What to expect at Neil Island? 

1. Neil Island is a tiny island in Andamans, which is only 13.7 kms in area and can be easily covered in a day. 
2. The main attractions of the beach are Bharatpur Beach, Laxmanpur Beach no. 1 and Natural Rock Formation. 
3. Neil Island does not have broadband connectivity. Many hotels and resorts do offer WiFi but they have an unstable connection. The place is ideal for one-day digital detox. 

Afternoon (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Hotel check in and unwind yourself. Afterwards, our tour coordinator will pick you up to visit Natural Rock Formation (at Laxmanpur Beach No. 2)  

During the golden hour, catch the sight of Nature’s very own aquarium. The arched rock formation looks stunning at the sunset. During the low-tide, witness many small tropical fish, live and dead corals, sea sponges, and star fishes. 

Note: 

1. Low tides are imperative to see the marine life around the Natural Rock Formation, otherwise you can simply watch the rock formation itself from far.
2. Wear comfortable and waterproof footwear as you will be walking on rocky terrain. 
3. The water can be muddy, especially if it has rained. 
4. It is essential to have low tides for you to see colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in pools of stagnant water. 
5. Walk slowly and carefully, keeping your feet firm on the slippery rocks.

Return to Hotel: After catching views of Natural Rock Formation and marine life get back to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning (8:30 – 9:00 AM): Explore Bharatpur Beach and indulge in water sports like snorkeling, swimming, glass bottom boat ride. (all water sports at your expense). If not interested in water activities, simply relax under a sundeck and sip fresh coconut water. 

Hotel Check-out and get a transfer to Neil Jetty. Board the speedboat/ferry and cruise back to Port Blair. 

Arrive in Port Blair: Check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing time. Later in the evening, head out to explore Corbyn’s Cove beach. The beach is approximately 7 kms from the main city centre. Watch a  beautiful sunset, savour drinks and snacks on the beach. 

Return to hotel: After spending time at the beach, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: After breakfast, complete the check out process and get ready for pick up from the hotel. The standard check out time is 12:00 PM, however you can also do an early check out depending on your flight schedule. Our tour coordinator will drop you off at Veer Savarkar Airport. 

The estimated transfer time from hotel to airport is 25 – 30 minutes. 

Board your flight and return home safely.
