Detailed Itinerary(6 Nights and 7 Days)

(2 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) — 2 Nights Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep))

Morning/Afternoon: Arrive in Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) and transfer from airport to hotel. The average transfer time from airport to hotel is 30 – 35 minutes. 

Hotel Check-in (2:00 – 3:00 PM): After checking in the hotel, relax in your room and relish lunch. Post meal, get ready for your first outing in Port Blair. 

Evening (4:30 – 4:45 PM): Explore the historic landmark of Port Blair – Cellular Jail Museum and learn about the monument’s colonial history. This colonial institution held Indian revolutionaries captive who rebelled against the British and were subject to torment and brutalities.  

After taking a tour of the Cellular Jail Museum, watch a Light & Sound Show that provides more insights on the history of this monument.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)

• Professional Camera charges: INR 1000/- per camera. 

Return to hotel: Enjoy a dinner outside and get transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning: Have an early breakfast at the hotel and stay ready for a trip to Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). Our tour coordinator will drive you to Haddo Jetty/Phoenix Bay.

Estimated transfer time from hotel to Jetty: 25 – 30 minutes

Towards Havelock: Upon arrival at Haddo Jetty/Phoenix Bay, board the ferry or speedboat and settle in. Sail towards Havelock Island, home to excellent beaches and tropical scenery. 

Note: 

1. The exact schedule of the speedboat/ferry will be shared with you  a day or two prior to departure. You can also confirm the ferry schedule by reaching out to us before the trip. 
2. The estimated transfer time from Port Blair to reach Havelock Island is anywhere between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. The transfer time may also vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

Afternoon (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Check in the hotel and unwind in your room. Post relaxation, it’s time for you to visit the most iconic beach of Andaman: Radhanagar Beach. Get to the best spots for viewing the sunset and click amazing pictures of yourself and the surroundings. 

Things to know about Radhanagar Beach 

1. Radhanagar Beach was named as Asia’s Best Beach by Time Magazine in 2004. 
2. Even after many years, it is still counted among the best beaches of Asia and #1 beach in India. 
3. Radhanagar Beach features lush tropical groves of coconut, mahua and palm trees. 
4. Its ivory white sand and turquoise waters exude a serene vibe. You will love taking a walk on the beach. 
5. Littering on Radhanagar Beach is strictly prohibited and doing so comes with a fine.

Evening (Post 6:30 PM): Explore the nearby markets and buy knick-knacks, if you will. Enjoy a dining session at one of the top-rated restaurants in Havelock and revel in the island vibes. 

Return to hotel: Post beach and dinner, get transferred to hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning (8:30 AM – 9:00 AM): Today is all about enjoying the adventurous side of Havelock Island with water activities and beach fun. Get a transfer from the hotel to Havelock Jetty and on a boat ride and proceed towards Elephant Beach.  

The transfer time from jetty to Elephant beach is 20 – 30 minutes approx.

Note: An alternative way to reach Elephant Beach is through a jungle trek which takes about 40 minutes. If you’re interested in trekking, let us know beforehand. 

At Elephant Beach: Once arrived on Elephant Beach, you will see plenty of water sports action on the beach. JetSkiing, Parasailing, Sea Walking, etc water sports are available on this beach. 

The water around the beach isn’t too deep, making it perfect for swimming. There is a thriving coral population that you can spot along with colourful tropical fish. Enjoy 1 free snorkelling session and witness the beauty of aquatic life.

Note: 

1. If you want to do any additional water activities like Banana Boating, Parasailing, Jet Skiing etc, at Elephant Beach, kindly inform us prior. It can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
2. In case your trip to Elephant beach gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, etc. then the complimentary activity like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed.  
3. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. because the Internet might not be available to make online payments.

Evening (4:30 PM): Stay until you see a beautiful sunset at the beach and get opportunities to click Instagrammable photos. Afterwards, take a boat ride back to Havelock Jetty and proceed towards the hotel. You can stop in between to have dinner. 

Back to hotel: Return to your hotel for an overnight stay 

 Meal Include: Breakfast 

Morning: Start your day with a light breakfast and check out from the hotel. Get a pick up ride from the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty. 

The estimated transfer time from Havelock Island to Neil island is 1 to 1.5 hours provided the weather conditions are optimal. 

Arrive at Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) and transfer to the hotel. Neil Island is a small isle with an area of 13.7 km. It is primarily a beach resort destination ideal for water activities, photography, relaxation and digital detox. 

Hotel Check- in (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM): After hotel check in, take time to unwind in your room. Next, depart for Laxamanpur Beach No. 1 for a therapeutic walk and sunset viewing. 

Laxmanpur Beach features a beautiful stretch of white sand and turquoise waters that is home to coral belts and colourful tropical fish. The beach also has some good snorkelling spots to experience underwater life.

Explore Shaheed Dweep Market: After relaxing at Laxmanpur Beach, explore Shaheed Dweep Market (Neil Kendra Market). This market is full of stalls selling the freshest catch of the day, sea-shell jewelleries and other trinkets. (Optional)

Back to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Get ready to explore the most famous natural attraction of Neil Island, i.e. Natural Rock Formation also known as Howrah Bridge. The arched rock is formed by many years of erosion caused by sea waves. Natural Rock Formation is located on Laxmanpur Beach No. 2. 

The best time to visit Natural Rock Formation aka Howrah Bridge is during the low tide so that you can witness ponds with corals and fishes in them. You will find both dead and live corals, small fish, starfish, sea cucumbers, and crabs. 

Things to keep in mind when visiting Natural Rock Formation

1. Low tides are essential to spot marine life near the Natural Rock Formation. Without low tides, you can only watch the Natural Rock Formation from a distance. 
2. It’s advisable to wear waterproof shoes with a strong grip. 
3. The rock beneath your footwear can be slippery, so place your feet firmly on the ground. 

Afternoon (Post 2 PM): The rest of the day is free for you to explore Neil Island. You can stay at the beach all day long longing around or return to the hotel.

Overnight stay at the hotel. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Checkout from the hotel and get a transfer to Neil Jetty. From here you will cruise all the way back to Port Blair. 

Arrive in Port Blair: After reaching Port Blair, check in your hotel and afterwards head towards Chidiya Tapu Beach. Watch the sky turn pink and orange during sunset and get to spot beautiful native and exotic birds such as Andaman Coucal, Andaman Serpent Eagle, etc. 

The estimated transfer time from Port Blair to Chidiya Tapu is 30 – 35 minutes via NH4.

Return to hotel: Get back to the hotel after birdwatching and relaxation at Chidiya Tapu beach for an overnight stay.  (If time permits, go shopping at Aberdeen bazaar).

Morning: Breakfast and check out from the hotel. If your flight is scheduled early, have an early check out. Our tour coordinator will drop you at Veer Savarkar Airport. The approximate transfer time from the hotel to the airport  is between 30 – 35 minutes. 

Your 6 Nights 7 days Andaman Odyssey tour concludes. Have a safe flight back home and return with happy memories.
