Detailed Itinerary(7 Nights and 8 Days)

(4 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) – 1 Night in Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep))

Airport Pickup: Arrive in Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) with a morning/afternoon flight and receive an airport to hotel transfer by our representative. The estimated transfer duration from the airport to the hotel is 20 – 25 minutes. 

Hotel check-in: Complete your hotel check in formalities. Proceed to the room to relax and refresh yourself from your flight. 

Note: The standard check in time in most Port Blair hotels is between 2:00 PM onwards. Some hotels may allow an early check in, depending on availability. 

Late Afternoon (4:00 PM): You will proceed to Cellular Jail and explore the colonial structure followed by a Light & Sound show which is 45 minutes long. It  provides more historical background and insights on the colonial structure and the lives of convicts who endured a merciless treatment.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)

Aberdeen Bazaar (optional): After Cellular Jail Museum, you can explore on an optional trip to Aberdeen Bazaar and explore stalls and shops. Attractive souvenirs such as Nicobarese mats, organic spices, coit products, sea-shell jewelleries, etc are commonly found here.  

Return to hotel: After your first day of sightseeing and shopping spree, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning: Welcome to a new day in Andaman. Today after breakfast, you will receive a drop off to Phoenix Bay. Get on a boat and proceed for a full day of exploration of Ross Island & North Bay Island. The former destination is just a 15-minute boat ride away from Port Blair. 

Ross Island: Historical ruins of rundown colonial buildings, Japanese Bunkers and extended roots of Banyan and Peepal trees characterise Ross Island. You can explore the remains of a church, a lighthouse, spot peacocks, deers and others. The name of Ross Island was changed to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island.

Next, a boat ride of 30 minutes from Ross Island will take you to North Bay Island. 

North Bay Island: Think of all the cool and thrilling water sports like jet skiing and scuba diving, etc and you will find them on Coral/ North Bay Island. A huge stretch of powdery white beach surrounded by turquoise waters of Bay of Bengal and fringing coral reefs adorns the landscape of this island. You can sunbathe, snorkel, or try any other water sports of your choice. (at additional cost)

Travel Tips: 

1. Pack all your beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for island excursions. 
2. North Bay Island offers facilities like washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
3. Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental.

Departure (5 PM): Get back on the boat with all your belongings and cruise back to Port Blair. Estimated transfer time: 40 to 45 minutes. 

Back to hotel: Our tour coordinator will provide pick up and drop-off from Phoenix Bay to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Port Blair. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Greet the morning sun by starting off your day early. Have breakfast at the hotel and get a pick up ride to Phoenix Bay Jetty. The estimated transfer time from hotel to jetty is about 25 – 30 minutes.

Towards Havelok Island: After arriving at Phoenix Bay Jetty, embark on a journey via sea vessel to reach (Swaraj Dweep) Havelock Island. Within a span of 1.5 to 2.5 hours, you will arrive at Havelock jetty. 

Note: We will inform you about the ferry/catamaran schedule in advance. 

Disembark & Hotel Transfer: At Havelock Jetty, disembark from catamaran and get a quick transfer to the hotel where you will check in and relax. 

Late Afternoon (4:30 PM): Receive a transfer from hotel to Radhanagar Beach, known as one of Asia’s best beaches. Enjoy watching a serene sunset and take a walk on its powder soft sand. It’s one of the most picturesque places in Havelock Island.

Back to hotel: After beach visit and sunset viewing, the day concludes. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning (8:30 – 9:00 AM): Breakfast at the hotel and get transferred to Havelock Jetty for a boat ride tour to Elephant Beach. This beach is a tranquil place to enjoy water sports and have a relaxing time. 

Estimated time to reach Elephant beach: 25 to 30 minutes.

At Elephant Beach: Avail your free snorkelling session and in the shallow waters near the beach, get to spot corals and vibrant marine life. The corals will start showing up at a depth of 1 to 2 meters. You can spot parrotfish, clownfish, butterflyfish, sea cucumbers, and colourful aquatic plants. 

Afterwards, soak yourself in the sunlight, go for a beach walk or try refreshments at the beach. 

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Additional water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc are not a part of the tour package but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
3. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach)  

Depart from the beach: Gather around and get in a boat to return to Port Blair. Then you will be transferred from Havelock Jetty to your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Today, you will be cruising to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). After breakfast, depart for Havelock Jetty and board a catamaran that will take you to Neil Island. Our team will be there to offer full assistance. 

The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Neil Island is 1 to 1.5 hours. 

Arrive at Neil Jetty: Disembark from the catamaran at Neil Kendra Jetty, and from here within a few minutes you will be at your hotel’s doorstep. Check in and take time to relax. Afterwards we will begin with sightseeing. 

Natural Rock Formation: You will head to Laxmanpur Beach no. 2 , and watch the arch-shaped rock formation that looks like a bridge. Made of limestone and dead corals, this structure is a wonderful example of nature’s artistry. 

Note: 

1. The ideal time to visit Natural Rock Formation is during the low tide. During low tides, you will be able to see coral formations and other marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  
2. The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 
3. Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes. 

Sunset Viewing: Then, you will move to Laxmanpur Beach no 2, famous for its scenic sunsets and tranquillity. Spend your time capturing snapshots of the pink and orange sky as the sun sets into the horizon

Late Evening: Afterwards, you may have dinner at a top-rated restaurant near the beach and savour the local flavours.

Return to Hotel: Overnight stay at the hotel in Neil Island.

Morning: Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and get a pick up ride towards Neil Jetty, board a ferry back to Port Blair the estimated transfer time is 1.2 – 2 hours. 

Afternoon: Check in the hotel and refresh yourself. You may rest for a while and in the late afternoon, you will be visiting Corbyn’s Cove. 

Depart for Corbyn’s Cove: Around 4- 4:30 PM, you will depart for Corbyn’s Cove Beach, which is located 8 kms from the main city centre. The crescent-shaped beach is  ideal for water sports, leisure and sunset viewing.

Back to Hotel: Return to your hotel for overnight lodging.

Morning: Have breakfast and prepare yourself for a day trip to Baratang Island. You will boat through Mangrove creek and hike towards Limestone Caves. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel. 

Note: We will share with you about the exact timings beforehand.  

Towards Baratang Island: Get  private transfer and enjoy a road trip to Baratang Island via Great Andaman Trunk Road. The distance is 110 km and can be covered in roughly 3 hours. Crossing through the jungles and Jataw Tribal Reserves, you will reach Baratang jetty.

Please note that tourists are not allowed to click photos or interact with the members of the tribe. It is important to respect their privacy.

Afternoon: From Baratang hetty, you will get on a boat and ride through the dense Mangrove creek. The scattered mangroves are home to many tropical birds and reptiles.  

After this boat ride, you will reach the trekking point and from here start a trek to Limestone Caves of Baratang. These are some of the most interesting attractions to explore in Andamans. Millions of years of geological activity led to the creation of the cave. Inside you will see caverns and chambers made of stalactite and stalagmites. 

Travel Tips: 

1. Wear strong sturdy shoes and keep your feet firmly on the ground while inside the cave.
2. Always use a steady flashlight as there could be fruit bats inside the cave. 
3. Carry an insect/mosquito repellent with you.
4. Listen to the instructions of the tour coordinator/guide carefully and stay in a group.  

Evening: Return to hotel for an overnight stay in Port Blair.

Morning: Have your breakfast on time and complete the check out process. Get a swift airport transfer by our tour coordinator. You will be dropped to Veer Savarkar airport from where you will board your flight.
