Detailed Itinerary(4 Nights and 5 Days)

2 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Land in Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) by a morning/afternoon flight. AndamanTourism.org’s tour coordinator will meet and greet you and transfer to the hotel. Get assistance with your luggage, check in process and rest in your hotel room. 

Note: 

• The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 
• The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 
• All transfers by a spacious and well-maintained car.

Late Afternoon: The first point of interest to explore in Port Blair is Cellular Jail, an erstwhile colonial prison where Indian revolutionaries and POWs were held captive. Explore the halls, corridors, museum, and photo gallery of this jail. 

Tea Break: Enjoy a cup of tea and enjoy the panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal and watch a mesmering sunset. 

Light & Sound Show: Then proceed to watch the Light & Sound show taking place in the garden area. Through engaging lighting effects and solemn narration, learn about the history of national struggle and the insights about the monument.

Please Note:

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular Jail, Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning (6:30 AM): Today our team will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Phoenix Bay/Haddo Jetty. 

Note: Both Haddo and Phoenix Bay Jetty are approximately 9 kms from Port Blair main city centre and take about 25 – 30 minutes to reach. 

At Phoenix Bay/Haddo Jetty: Our coordinator will help you board a high-speed private ferry and you will cruise to Havelock Island via Makruzz – Premium Class / Nautika – Luxury Class. You will be able to enjoy gorgeous views of the Bay of Bengal and reach Havelock Island which has spectacular white beaches and nightlife. 

Note: The ferry time from Port Blair to Havelock will be from 7:30 AM onwards. If you wish to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. 

Note: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Hotel Check- in: Welcome to Havelock Island and get a quick transfer from jetty to the hotel. Keep your valid IDs ready for a smooth check in and rest in your room. Afterwards, you and your family will head to watch a sunset at Radhanagar beach. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Around 4:30 PM, you will leave for Radhanagar Beach (Beach No 7) with our coordinator. The calmness and serenity of this beach will wash over you. Feel the powdery-soft sand beneath your feet and bask in the unhurried atmosphere of this beach. 

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Photography: Avail your professional complimentary beach photoshoot that will freeze the beautiful memories of family vacation. The sunset, orange-pink and sky, the vastness of the Bay of Bengal offers a perfect backdrop for your photos.

Back to hotel: Get transfer to the hotel and catch a good night’s sleep.

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and get a pick up ride to Havelock Jetty. From here, you will take a boat ride to Elephant beach. 

Alternatively, you can also get to Elephant beach through jungle trekking. 

The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 25 to 30 minutes. 

At Elephant Beach: Popular for water sports and coral spotting, Elephant beach is a delightful experience for your Andaman family trip. Avail your one free snorkelling session and wade in to experience the vibrant marine life. The corals, sea anemones, and reef fish are visible at just 1 – 2 meters of depth.

Note: 

1.  Apart from one free snorkelling session, any additional water activities like parasailing, jet skiing, glass bottom boat ride etc. can be availed on a direct payment basis. Just inform us prior. 
2. If the Elephant beach trip gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (like bad weather or rough sea conditions) complimentary activity like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed.  
3. Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. 
4. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.
5. Kindly keep your personal belongings such as mobile phone, wallet, etc. safe. 

Departure: Get on the boat and cruise back to Havelock Island. Post arrival, you will be dropped off at the hote

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Morning: Today, you will visit the secluded and serene Kalapathar Beach, located on the eastern coast of Havelock Island. The white beach stands in contrast with the black boulders (kala pathar). It’s a great place to watch the sunrise and if you want to see the sunrise with your family, you will have to arrive at the beach at atleast 5:00 AM in the morning. 

Hotel check out: Pack your luggage and check out from the hotel. Afterwards, our driver will drop you at the Havelock Jetty. You will cruise back to Port Blair. Upon reaching Port Blair, get a car transfer to the hotel and relax. 

Corbyn’s Cove Beach: In the late afternoon, head for Corbyn’s Cove beach which is approximately 8 kms from Port Blair. This crescent shaped beach is ideal for water sports and lounging. The beach is lined with food stalls and one can also enjoy beach volleyball while kids can sandcastles.

Back to hotel: Get a car ride back to the hotel and stay the night.

Morning: Post breakfast and hotel check out, get a swift airport drop off by our tour representative. The estimated transfer time from the hotel to Veer Savarkar Airport is 20 – 25 minutes. 

Departure: After your drop off at the airport, we say goodbye to each other and wish you a happy and pleasant flight back home. Fly back to your home with the cherished memory of Andaman.
