Detailed Itinerary(5 Nights and 6 Days)

2 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 3 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep)

Welcome to Port Blair: Our tour representative will meet you and your family at Veer Savarkar airport with a warm welcome and transfer you to the hotel. Complete the check in formalities and rest yourself. 

Note: 

• The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 
• The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 
• All transfers by a spacious and well-maintained car.

Late Afternoon: The sightseeing in Port Blair begins with Cellular Jail. Explore the architecture and layout of the colonial prison where freedom fighters and poltical prisoners were subject to torture and brutality. You should also explore its museum, art gallery and the library. 

Tea Break: After Cellular Jail exploration, enjoy a cup of tea with the views of sunset to refresh yourself. 

Light & Sound Show: Post tea break, gather in the garden area to watch the Light & Sound show representing the history of Cellular Jail, inhumane condition of prisoners, and India’s struggle for freedom.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular Jail and the Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning: Today you will be cruising to Havelock Island and explore its most popular beaches with your 3 night stay. You will be leaving with an early morning ferry so stay ready and get swift transfer from the hotel to Phoenix Bay jetty. 

Phoenix Bay jetty is 9 kms from Port Blair main city centre and the transfer time is about 25 – 30 minutes. 

Note: The morning cruise from Port Blair to Havelock starts at 7:30 AM for which you have to depart the hotel at 6:00 am – 6:30 am. If you want to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. 

At Phoenix Bay: You will be cruising via Makruzz – Premium Class or Nautika – Luxury Class. Our tour representative will help you board the cruise from Port Blair to Havelock Island. Get enthralled by the spectacular scenery of the Bay of Bengal, as you cruise. 

Note: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Welcome to Havelock Island: Get a warm welcome by on-ground staff at Havelock Jetty and receive a drop-off to the hotel for check in and rest. Later, you will depart for Radhanagar Beach to have quality family fun. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Watch a luminous and ethereal sunset at Radhanagar Beach, regarded as one of the best beaches in Asia.  Radhanagar Beach was also recognized by the prestigious Time Magazine as Asia #1 beach in 2004 and since then, it has been the most famous beach to visit on an Andaman holiday. 

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Photography: Take advantage of the sunset and use it as your backdrop for amazing photos. Get a professional complimentary beach photoshoot of your Andaman family vacation.

Back to hotel: Post sunset viewing, receive a car transfer to the hotel and catch a good night’s sleep.

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Morning: Ready for an underwater exploration? Today is the day when you will be taking a boat ride to Elephant Beach. Make sure to have your breakfast and keep your beach bag ready. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty for a boat ride. 

The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 30 – 35 minutes. 

Note: You can also get to Elephant beach through jungle trekking. The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 40 minutes. 

At Elephant Beach: Soak in the island vibes at Elephant Beach and relish a good family time filled with amusement. The beach is ideal for relaxing as well as participating in thrilling water sports. Get your free snorkelling session and witness the colourful fish, hard and soft corals, and other marine creatures. The water around Elephant beach is suitable for non-swimmers and kids.

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Additional water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc. are not a part of the tour package, but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
3. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 
4. Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. 
5. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.

Back to Hotel: After enjoying a full beach day with family, you will be dropped off at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Today is all about taking it easy without any travel schedules and sightseeing. Enjoy your leisure day in Havelock Island with breakfast at the hotel. 

Beach Exploration: You can go ahead and explore Govind Nagar or Vijay Nagar beaches. If you want to try any water sports activity like scuba diving, sofa ride, glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, etc. in Havelock, it can be availed on a direct payment basis. The on-ground staff of AndamanTourism.org will be there to assist you throughout the day.  

Overnight stay in the Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: On day 5, visit the undisturbed and peaceful Kalapathar Beach. It is situated on the eastern coast of Havelock Island, making it a perfect place to capture a beautiful sunrise. Make sure to arrive at the beach at atleast 5:00 AM in the morning to watch the sunrise with your family. 

Back to Port Blair  : Post beach exploration, check out from the hotel and our driver will drop you at the Havelock Jetty. You will cruise back to Port Blair on a high-speed private ferry. Upon reaching Port Blair, get a car transfer to the hotel and relax. 

Shop & Dine: The evening is free for you to go souvenir shopping and taste the local flavours of Andaman before your departure. We can guide you to the best eateries in Port Blair where you can enjoy a delightful dinner with family (at your expense).

Hotel Drop-off: Our coordinator will drop you off at the hotel.

Morning: Have breakfast and check out from the hotel on time. Our coordinator will drop you off at Veer Savarkar airport. The estimated transfer time is between 20 -25 minutes.
