Detailed Itinerary(5 Nights and 6 Days)

3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Arrive at Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram’s) airport with a morning flight and receive a warm welcome by our tour representative. Get assistance with your luggage and hotel transfer. The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel is 25 – 30 minutes. 

Hotel Check in: Keep your valid ID proof ready for a swift hotel check in and proceed to your room for rest. Later, we will begin sightseeing in Port Blair. 

Note: 

• The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 
• The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 
• All transfers by a spacious and well-maintained car.

Late Afternoon: Depart for Port Blair’s most visited attraction – Cellular Jail aka the  infamous Kala pani jail. Apart from the solitary prison cells, hallways, and corridors do explore the museum, art gallery and the library which has many books on the Indian Independence movement. 

Tea Break: Enjoy a cup of tea with views of a golden sunset near the Cellular Jail. 

Light & Sound Show: Take your seat for an open-air Light & Sound show which sheds light on the history of Cellular Jail, grim plight of prisoners, and India’s struggle for independence all laced in an engaging laser lighting and storytelling.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular Jail and the Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Meal Included: Lunch

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and depart for a day trip to Ross Island (Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Dweep) and North Bay Island (Coral Island). The former is known for its colonial remnants and the latter for its water sports and colourful coral belts. You and your family will receive a pick up from the hotel. 

Ross Island: A short boat ride of 15 minutes from Port Blair takes you to Ross Island. Once called the ‘Paris of East’, today this island has British colonial ruins covered in moss and algae. The extended branches of Peepal and Banyan trees create an eerie atmosphere.  You can click photos of deer, peacocks, and other birds wandering freely around.

North Bay Island: Next stop for today is the adventurous North Bay (Coral Island). Boasting a beautiful shoreline, the island has a thriving range of hard and soft corals, and tropical fish. Participate in water sports like boat scuba diving, snorkelling, glass bottom boat ride, parasailing etc. (all water sports at your expense). You can also enjoy a picnic with family or simply sunbathe and relax on the beach.

Travel Tips 

1. Make sure to carry beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for this island trip. 
2. North Bay Island offers facilities of washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
3. Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental. Digital payments may not be available due to lack of strong internet connection. 
4. The estimated cost for snorkelling in North Bay Island is INR 700 – 800 per person. Whereas the estimated cost of Glass Bottom Boat Ride is INR 500 – 600 per person

Depart from North Bay Island: Board the boat and cruise back to Port Blair. The estimated transfer time to reach Port Blair is 35 to 40 minutes. Our tour coordinator will drop your family at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair. 

Meal Included: Breakfast 

Morning: Start your day early and receive a transfer to Phoenix Bay Jetty. The third day  is for another fantastic island excursion, the beautiful Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), known for its fun beaches and nightlife. Our team’s representative will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Phoenix Bay jetty. 

Phoenix Bay jetty is 9 kms from Port Blair main city centre and the transfer time is about 25 – 30 minutes. 

Note: The morning cruise from Port Blair to Havelock starts at 7:30 AM for which you have to depart the hotel at 6:00 am – 6:30 am. If you want to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. 

Cruise towards Havelock: Our coordinator will help you board a private cruise that will take your family to Havelock Island. You will take either Makruzz – Premium Class or Nautika – Luxury Class. Be seated and enjoy the journey towards Havelock Island. 

Note: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

At Havelock Jetty: Welcome to Havelock Island, the coastal paradise of Andamans and an enthralling family vacay spot. Get assistance with hotel transfer and check in by our on-ground team’s representative. Proceed to your room and rest for a while. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Famous for its gorgeous sunset, Radhanagar Beach delights people of all ages. The calm and spectacular tropical vibes soothes one’s stresses. Enjoy a family picnic in the golden hours and watch the sun slowly melting into the horizon, leaving behind tinge of gold and red in the sky. 

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Evening: Enjoy a family dinner at a beach cafe/restaurant and savour the taste of delicious  food with even more amazing views. (at your expense) 

Back to hotel: Post dining, receive a car transfer to the hotel and retire for the night.

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Morning: On the fourth day, you will be going to explore Elephant Beach, known for its thrilling water sports scene and fringing coral belts. So, pack your beach bag and get ready but make sure to have breakfast at the hotel. 

Hotel Pickup: Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty for a boat ride. The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 30 – 35 minutes. 

Note: You can also get to Elephant beach through jungle trekking. The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 40 minutes. 

Elephant Beach: Enjoy a cheerful time with your family swimming in the shallow ends and sunbathing on the white sand beach. Avail the free snorkelling session and spot beautiful marine life along with corals that are visible within 1 to 2 meters of depth. You can also avail other water activities such as sofa ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc. (can be availed on a direct payment basis)

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 
3. Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. 
4. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.

Back to Hotel: After enjoying a full beach day with family, you will be dropped off at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: If you like watching sunrises, Kalapathar beach is the place to be in Havelock Island. Our tour coordinator will pick you from the hotel and drop you off at Kalapathar beach. The calming and peaceful vibes of the beach is the highlight of the spot. You can relax, mediate, and click beautiful photos of your family.

Hotel Drop off & Return to Port Blair: Return to the hotel for breakfast and thereafter proceed to check out. Our coordinator will drop you off at Havelock Jetty. Cruise back to Port Blair from Havelock with an estimated transfer time of 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Arrive in Port Blair: Our on-ground staff will pick you up from Phoenix Bay and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you are free to explore Aberdeen Bazaar and go souvenir shopping. Thereafter, you will be dropped off at the hotel. Use this time to check for all your belongings and pack your luggage. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Savour breakfast with your family and after that check out from the hotel on time. Our coordinator will drop you off at Veer Savarkar airport. The estimated transfer time is between 20 -25 minutes. 

Departure: Board your flight as we wish you a happy and safe flight back home. Our team will look forward to serving you and your family again.
