Detailed Itinerary(6 Nights and 7 Days)

3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram), 2 Nights Havelock (Swaraj Dweep), 1 Night Neil (Shaheed Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Fly down to Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) airport, get an instant pick up and drop off service by our tour coordinator.  At the hotel, complete check in and proceed to relax in your room. In the late afternoon, we will begin sightseeing. 

Note: 

The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 

The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 

All transfers are in a private and spacious car.

Cellular Jail Visit: Learn about the era of and despair and struggles for India’s independence by visiting Cellular Jail. This colonial prison is also known as Kala pani where freedom fighters and prisoners of war were subject to extreme brutalities. Take a guided tour and understand the architecture of the jail. 

Tea Break: After Cellular Jail, take a break and enjoy a cup with wonderful views of the sunset and the Bay of Bengal. 

Light & Sound Show: Get ready for an engaging Light & Sound Show that narrates the history of cellular Jail and life of prisoners who endured many brutalities here. The show uses dramatic lighting effects and narration  to tell the story of India’s freedom struggleThe runtime of the show is 45 minutes.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After Cellular Jail and the Light & Sound Show, you will be dropped off at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning: Greet the new day in Andaman and get ready for an island hopping trip. But before that make sure to have breakfast at the hotel. Today, our tour coordinator will pick you up for the Ross Island and North Bay Island tour. Get a transfer to Andaman Water Sports Complex and board a boat to Ross Island. (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island)

Ross Island: There are no commercial establishments, roads or vehicular traffic on Ross Island so you can walk freely. Ross Island is an important historic site which has British colonial ruins of colonial buildings, Chief Commissioner’s house, a church, a hospital, water treatment plant, etc. The aerial roots of Bayan trees on the island create an eerie yet enchanting atmosphere. You will also spot deer and peacock roaming freely on the island.

North Bay Island: Next attraction for the day is North Bay (Coral Island). This island features fringing coral reefs and marine life. You can participate in different water activities  like boat scuba diving, snorkelling, glass bottom boat ride, parasailing etc. (all water sports at your expense).

Travel Tips 

1. Make sure to carry beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for this island trip. 
2. North Bay Island offers facilities of washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
3. Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental. Digital payments may not be available due to lack of strong internet connection. 
4. The estimated cost for snorkelling in North Bay Island is INR 700 – 800 per person. Whereas the estimated cost of Glass Bottom Boat Ride is INR 500 – 600 per person. All prices are subject to change. 

Depart from North Bay Island: Board the boat and cruise back to Port Blair. The estimated transfer time to reach Port Blair is 35 to 40 minutes. Our tour coordinator will drop you back to the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair.

Morning: Get an early hotel pick up and transfer to Phoenix Bay/Haddo Jetty for an Havelock Island excursion. 

Note: The morning cruise from Port Blair to Havelock starts at 7:30 AM for which you have to depart the hotel at 6:00 am – 6:30 am. If you want to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. The timing of government ferry service is at 6:20 AM and 2:00 PM. 

At Phoenix Bay/Haddo Jetty: Our tour coordinator will assist you with ferry boarding from Port Blair. Settle down in your seats and enjoy the views of the Bay waters as you cruise towards Havelock Island. 

Note: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Arrive at Havelock Island: Post arrival, get assistance with luggage and transfer to the hotel. Complete the hotel check in and head to your room to unwind. Later in the day, our coordinator will pick you up for Radhanagar Beach visit. 

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: One of the highlights of Havelock Island trip is watching a gorgeous sunset at Radhanagar Beach, which is regarded as one of the best beaches of Asia. Enjoy relaxing or swimming in the clear turquoise waters around the beach. Later, catch a beautiful sunset. 

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Back to hotel: Our tour coordinator will drop you back to the hotel where you will stay the night. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island  

Meal Included: Breakfast/Lunch

Hotel Pickup: On the fourth day, you will take an Elephant beach trip with AndamanTourism.org.  Our tour coordinator will provide transfer to Havelock Jetty. From there you will board a boat and cruise to the beach. 

Note: You can also get to Elephant beach through jungle trekking. The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 40 minutes by trekking.  

Elephant Beach: Experience the underwater world near Elephant Beach, replete with coral reefs. You will spot colourful marine life  including reef fish, corals, sea anemones, etc.The shallow waters are ideal for swimming even for non-swimmers. Just make sure to wear a life jacket. Later, you can lay down on a beach mat and sunbathe.  

Note: Water sports such as scuba diving, sea bed walking, glass bottom boat ride, etc. can be availed on a direct payment basis.

• Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
• Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 
• Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.

Return to Havelock Island: Board the boat and return to Havelock Island. Enjoy dining at a beachside cafe/restaurant before returning to the hotel. 

Overnight Stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Hotel Pickup: The day begins with breakfast, followed by check out from the hotel. You will be driven off to Havelock Jetty. Board a private ferry and cruise towards Neil Island. The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Neil Island is  1.5 – 2 hours (with ideal weather and sea conditions). 

At Neil Island: Our on-ground staff at Neil Island will welcome you and provide assistance with luggage and hotel transfer. Check in and refresh yourself at the hotel. Afterwards, depart for Natural Rock Formation & Laxmanpur Beach. 

Natural Rock Formation (Howrah Bridge): Watch the intriguing rock formation formed by years of oceanic and wind activity, the Howrah Bridge. People call it nature’s very own aquarium as there are ponds filled with water and marine life. 

Please note that Howrah Bridge is only accessible during low tide. If the tides are high, we will go straight to Laxmanpur Beach no. 1

Things to Know about Natural Rock Formation
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes. 

Sunset at Laxmanpur Beach No. 1: From Natural Bridge, we move to Laxmanapur Beach No 1 to catch amazing views of the sunset. The sunset timings are between 5:15 pm to 5:20 pm. You can also enjoy refreshments at the beach as it is lined with food stalls and hawkers. Later, our coordinator will drop you at the hotel.

Overnight stay in Neil Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: The day starts with breakfast at the hotel and post that, pick up and transfer to Bharatapur Beach. This is your last day on Neil island, so make sure to enjoy your time to the fullest. 

At Bharatpur Beach: Feel free to explore the beach, sunbathe, or lounge on the sundeck. Click photos in the lagoon area. You can also avail water sports banana boat rides, kayaking, speed boat rides, etc on a direct payment basis.

Cruise to Port Blair: Check out from the hotel and transfer to Neil Jetty.  Board the cruise towards Port Blair. The estimated transfer time is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Arrive in Port Blair & Shopping: Our on-ground team’s representative will pick you up at Phoenix By/Haddo Jetty. Then, you will be taken to Aberdeen Bazaar for a shopping trip before the hotel drop-off.

Morning (8:30 – 9:00 AM): Have your breakfast of the day and check out on time. Please note that hotels in Port Blair have an early check out time. If your flight is scheduled in the afternoon, kindly wait at the reception or in the hotel lobby. You can also cover an attraction in Port Blair by paying extra charges.

Airport Drop-Off: Get a seamless airport transfer by our team’s representative and board your flight. We wish you a safe and happy return and hope to serve you again.

Important Note LTC Reimbursement 

1. Hotel and food expenses are not eligible for reimbursement under LTC (Leave Travel Concession).

2. Please book your flight only through Ashoka Travels or Balmer Laurie to ensure eligible for LTC reimbursement. 

3. If you plan to claim LTC, use government ferry services for inter-island travel in Andaman Island. However, in some cases, reimbursement for private ferry tickets is generally allowed. You will need to submit the original hard copy of the ticket to your office/government department.
