3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 1 Night Rangat — 2 Nights Long Island — 3 Nights Diglipur — 2 Nights Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) — 2 Nights Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Welcome to Port Blair: Arrive at Port Blair airport and get escorted to the hotel by our tour coordinator. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in and relax in your room until the sightseeing for the day begins. 

Note: 

The standard check in time Port Blair hotel is between 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM 

The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel in Port Blair is 20-25 minutes. 

All transfers are in a private and spacious car. 

Visit Cellular Jail: Explore the famous colonial prison (now a memorial) Cellular Jail, where Indian revolutionaries were held captive by the British. The jail premises consist of seven wings, all conceited to a central building. Learn about the history of India’s independence movement and life of prisoners by exploring a museum and an art gallery.  

Tea Break: Followed by Cellular Jail exploration, savour a refreshing cup of tea and watch the views of the sunset and the sea. 

Light & Sound Show: Watch the Light & Sound show narrating the history of Cellular Jail and the life of prisoners, using dramatic sound effects, powerful storytelling, and laser lights. The runtime of the show is 45 minutes.

1. Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
2. Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
3. Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
4. (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.

Return to Hotel: After Cellular Jail and the Light & Sound Show, our tour representative will drop you off at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair.

Early Morning: Wake up early and get ready for today’s transfer. You will be traveling to Rangat island and will receive a pick-up by our tour coordinator. 

Towards Rangat: Taking the Andaman Trunk Road, our convoy will leave from Jirkatang check post and pass by Jarawa Tribal Reserve and Baratang Island, afterwards we will arrive in Rangat. Please note that photography is not allowed when passing through the Jarawa Tribal Reserve.

Estimated transfer time from Port Blair to Rangat is 7 to 8 hours. 

Things to know about Rangat

Rangat is a large island in between South and Middle Andaman. It is best known for its pristine beauty, unspoilt beaches, waterfalls, and mangrove ecosystem. It’s one of the best offbeat places to visit Andaman to enjoy eco-tourism. 

Afternoon: Upon arrival at the hotel, complete check in and get to your room and relax after the long road road trip. Have some refreshments and afterwards we will begin sightseeing in Rangat. 

Dhanninallah Mangrove Nature Walkway: One of the best natural attractions to explore in Rangat is its diverse mangrove forest at Dhanninallah, best experienced by walking on a walkaway. Enjoy a lovely walk on the wooden walkway (713 meters long) and click photos. This walkway will lead you to Dhaninallah beach which is a hatchery for sea turtles.

Morrice Dera Beach: Explore the twin rocks at Morrice Dera beach, which is a unique natural sight. The views of the horizon from the twin rocks are spectacular. The entire beach is backed by a lush tropical forest, giving it a beautiful serenity. This beach is more suitable for relaxation and picnics rather than swimming.

Return to Hotel: After sightseeing, get a transfer back to the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Rangat 

Meal Included: Lunch

Morning: Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel, followed by a check out. You will be taken to Yerrata jetty. From there, you will board a government ferry and transfer to Long Island. 

Please note that government ferries are operational on alternate days, typically Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 09:00 AM and 04:00 PM. Ferry sailing from Yerrata to Long Island is subject to weather conditions and sailing schedules. 

Towards Long Island: Board the ferry from Yerrata and cruise towards Long Island with ane estimated transfer time of one hour. 

Hotel Check-in: Upon arrival, check in at the hotels and enjoy a restful sleep. 

Overnight stay in Long Island 

Meal Included: Lunch

Hotel Pick-up: Have breakfast at the hotel and get picked up by our tour coordinator for sightseeing in and around Long Island. The beaches of Long Island display a raw and pristine beauty, full of serenity.

Towards Lalaji Bay Beach: Get transferred to Long Island jetty, hop on a boat and cruise towards the beach. The estimated transfer time is 20 to 30 minutes.

At Lalaji Bay Beach: Far from the hustle and bustle and commercialisation, enjoy the offbeat beach filled with untouched natural beauty. There are no hawkers, vendors, or the typical tourists crowds on the beach. Enjoy a light stroll, bathe in soothing sunlight, or have a picnic on the beach.

At Mark Bay Beach: Next, we move to Mark Bay Beach, another hidden gem of Long Island  to soak in the tranquility and unhurried vibes. Click photos at the beach, walk on its white sand and watch the clear waters lap up its shores. It’s a perfect place to rejuvenate on your holiday.

Guitar Island: Next, you will head for a Guitar Island trip which takes about 15 – 20 minutes. As the name suggests, the island is shaped like an acoustic guitar and is surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters. You can do swimming or snorkeling (with your own gear) in the shallow water during low tides. 

Note: 

1. You will not find any commercial facilities on Guitar island as it is largely uninhabited. 
2. Guitar Island is only accessible during the low tide. 
3. All boat rides are subject to weather conditions and government directives.

Return to hotel: After this long day of beach hopping and island excursion, return to your hotel. 

Overnight stay in Long Island. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast and check out from the hotel. On day 5, we will head to Diglipur. To reach Diglipur we will take a government ferry from Long Island to Rangat. Next, we take a cab from Rangat and reach Diglipur Island. 

Note: The estimated transfer time from Long island to Diglipur va Rangat will be around 10 – 12 hours. 

Hotel check-in: Upon arrival in Diglipur, you will be dropped off at the hotel where you will check in and stay the night. 

Overnight stay in Diglipur 

Meal Included: Breakfast/Lunch

Morning: After breakfast, you will visit the Twin Islands, Ross & Smith from Diglipur. Get a pick up and drop off at the Aerial Bay jetty from Diglipur which is 9 km away.

Note: Ross & Smith islands lie 20 kms from Diglipur and take 30 – 35 minutes to reach. 

Towards Ross & Smith Islands: Board a ferry from Aerial Bay Jetty and cruise towards the Twin Island. The islands are connected by a sliver of sandbank which appears during the low tide. Enjoy walking on the sandbank, feel the touch of aquamarine waters and have a relaxing time on the beaches of Ross & Smith Islands. 

Note: You won’t find any commercial tourist activities on Ross & Smith Islands. There are a few bamboo huts and changing rooms for visitors. If you are good at snorkelling, you may snorkel in shallow water sections. But, do keep in mind there are no guides or lifeguards on its beach.

Afternoon (2 – 3 PM): From Twin Islands, we make our way back to Aerial Bay and from there take a boat ride to Kalipur Beach. Walk on the greyish sand and watch the waves lapping up its shores. The beach is also a famous site for turtle nesting. 

Note: Turtle Nesting is a popular activity to see at Kalipur Beach, but it’s only available from October to March. You can watch Leatherback, Hawksbill, Green, and Olive Ridley turtles.

Evening: After Kalipur beach excursion, get a drop-off back to your hotel. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Get ready for a jungle trek experience in Andamans. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Lamiya Bay. This is where the Saddle peak trek begins. The estimated transfer time is 15 – 20 minutes. 

At Trailhead (Beginning point of Saddle Peak Jungle Trek): Trek through the tropical jungles, offering an exciting adventurous time. While trekking through the jungle, you will see native and exotic birds, along with some exquisite flora and fauna. 

Note: The entire trek up to Saddle peak is approximately 8 km (roundtrip – 16 km) and takes 5 to 7 hours. Do this only if your physical fitness allows, otherwise you can do a small trek in the jungle and return.   

Lamiya Bay Beach: Post trekking, relax yourself at Lamiya Bay Beach, a calm and cool beach. Free from commercialisation and tourist crowds Lamiya Bay Beach is ideal for spending some “me-time”.

Return to Diglipur: After this adventurous and tiring day, get back to the hotel and relax. 

Overnight stay in Diglipur 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and ride all the way back to Port Blair. On our way, we will stop by all the picture-perfect places to click photos. We will travel from Diglipur to Mayabunder, Rangat, Baratang, Jarawa Tribal Reserve and finally reach Port Blair. 

The estimated transfer time from  Diglipur to Port Blair is 10 – 12 hours.

Late Evening: Arrive at the hotel and head to your room. After this long day of travel, make sure to rest well.

Morning: Receive a pick up from the hotel to Haddo/Phoenix Bay Jetty by our coordinator. From there, you will go on a cruise and transfer to Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep).

Note 1: The morning cruise from Port Blair to Havelock starts at 7:30 AM for which you have to depart the hotel at 6:00 am – 6:30 am. If you want to take a later ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then post booking, contact our team and we will try our best to accommodate your request. The timing of government ferry service is at 6:20 AM and 2:00 PM. 

Note 2: The estimated travel time to reach Havelock from Port Blair is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Transfer time may also vary depending on sea conditions or weather.

Arrive in Havelock Island: Welcome to Havelock Island and get greeted by our tour coordinator who will escort you to the hotel. Check in and relax in your room until the next pick up.  

Sunset at Radhanagar Beach: Watch a beautiful sunset at Radhanagar Beach and take in the serenity of this place. The changing hues of the sky during sunset is a beautiful sight to behold. 

Sunset timing at Radhanagar Beach: 5:00 PM – 5:20 PM

Back to hotel: Our tour coordinator will drop you and your family back to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Havelock Island

Hotel Pickup: On day tenth of your Andaman trip, you will travel to Elephant beach, the best spot for adventure water sports. Get a pick up and drop-off ride to Havelock Jetty and take a boat to reach the Elephant beach. 

Note: You can also get to Elephant beach through jungle trekking. The estimated transfer time to reach Elephant Beach is 40 minutes by trekking.  

Elephant Beach: Brimming with coral reefs and marine life, Elephant beach is top spot for swimming and snorkelling. Take your snorkelling gear and dive in waters to spot tropical  reef fish, corals, sea anemones. Afterwards, relax on the beach or go for a walk. 

Note: Water sports such as scuba diving, sea bed walking, glass bottom boat ride, etc. can be availed on a direct payment basis.

• Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
• Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 
• Complimentary activity (snorkelling) cannot be exchanged for any other activity. Carry cash in a waterproof bag for locker rentals, accessing changing rooms etc. The Internet might not be available to make digital payments.

Return to Havelock Island: Take the boat ride and get back to Havelock Island. Get transferred to the hotel. 

Overnight Stay in Havelock Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Today, you will go to Havelock Jetty and cruise to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). The estimated transfer time between Havelock Island to Neil Island is  1.5 – 2 hours (with ideal weather and sea conditions). 

At Neil Island: Welcome to Neil Island and get a transfer from jetty to the hotel by our tour representative. Check in at the hotel and get to your room to relax yourself. Later, we will begin sightseeing on Neil Island. 

Natural Rock Formation (Howrah Bridge): Explore the most fascinating natural formation of limestones and deal corals on Laxmanpur Beach no. 2. Natural Rock Formation is formed by years of oceanic activity and wind pressure. You can spot ponds around the formation which have tiny marine creatures that you can spot during low tides. 

Please note that Howrah Bridge is only accessible during low tide. If the tides are high, we will go straight to Laxmanpur Beach no. 1

Things to Know about Natural Rock Formation
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes. 

Sunset at Laxmanpur Beach No. 1: The top spot to watch a gorgeous sunset on Neil Island is Laxmanpur Beach. The timing of the sunset is between 5:15 pm to 5:20 pm.  After the sunset, our tour representative will drop you off at the hotel.

Overnight stay in Neil Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy your leisure day on Neil Island. You can stay back at the property and relax or avail activities at extra charges. Our on-ground staff will be there to offer guidance and support, if needed.

Morning: After breakfast at the hotel we will head to Bharatpur Island, a famous beach on Neil island. The beach is replete with coral reefs and coastal beauty. There are also many water sports available on the beach. 

At Bharatpur Beach: Take a walk on the beach and click photos at the beach. You can try water sports like snorkelling, parasailing, kayaking, and speed boat ride. (payable directly by you.) 

Cruise to Port Blair: Complete the check out from the hotel and transfer to Neil Jetty. Board the cruise and depart for Port Blair. The estimated transfer time is 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Arrive in Port Blair: Our tour representative in Port Blair will pick you up from Phoenix Bay Jetty and then visit Aberdeen Bazaar for a shopping trip. 

At Aberdeen Bazaar: Look out for souvenirs in Aberdeen Bazaar. You can shop for sea shell jewelleries, organic spices, tribal masks, etc.

Hotel Drop-off: Our tour coordinator will drop you off at the hotel for the night stay. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have an early breakfast and check out from the hotel on time. Please remember hotels have an early check out and if your flight is delayed or scheduled in the afternoon, you have to keep your luggage in the lobby or reception area. 

Airport Drop-off: Our tour coordinator will provide transfer to the airport. We wish you a safe and happy return. The estimated transfer time from the hotel to the airport is within 30 minutes.

Important Note LTC Reimbursement 

1. Hotel and food expenses are not eligible for reimbursement under LTC (Leave Travel Concession).

2. Please book your flight only through Ashoka Travels or Balmer Laurie to ensure eligible for LTC reimbursement. 

3. If you plan to claim LTC, use government ferry services for inter-island travel in Andaman Island. However, in some cases, reimbursement for private ferry tickets is generally allowed. You will need to submit the original hard copy of the ticket to your office/government department.
