Detailed Itinerary(8 Nights and 9 Days)

3 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 1 Night Rangat — 2 Nights Diglipur — 2 Nights Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Welcome to Andaman. Our tour coordinator will meet you at Veer Savarkar Airport (IXZ) and transfer to the hotel. The estimated transfer duration is 20 to 25 minutes. 

Afternoon (2:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Keep your photo ID proof ready for a swift hotel check in, proceed to the room and rest up. Enjoy your meal for the day until the next pick up. 

Late Afternoon (4:30 PM): Depart for Cellular Jail (Kala Pani), a historic landmark and memorial in Port Blair. The monument was a colonial prison built and shaped like a cellular structure. Explore its museum, library, and photo gallery that shed light on the history of this monument. 

Light & Sound Show: At 5:30 PM, an engaging Light & Sound Show takes place in the premises of Cellular Jail. This open-air show narrates the history,  trials and tribulations, and life of prisoners at this colonial jail.

Please Note:

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)
• (Non-professional) Camera charges: INR 200/- per camera.
• Professional Camera charges: INR 1000/- per camera.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After the show concludes, our team coordinator will drop you back to the hotel.

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and afterwards get a transfer from the hotel by our tour representative. You will be transferred to Phoenix Bay Jetty or Andaman water sports complex for a boat ride to Ross Island. 

 At Ross Island: Explore the colonial ruins and dilapidated buildings covered in moss and algae. Once called “Paris of the East”, today the island has ruins of a church, British administrative buildings, etc. The aerial prop roots of large Banyan and Peepal trees creates an ethereally beautiful vibe. You will also find deer roaming on the island.

From Ross Island, you will take a trip to North Bay Island which is approximately 30 minutes away. 

At North Bay Island: Set foot on North Bay Island, a beautiful beach island famous for all the thrilling water sports. Participate in water activities like Banana Boating, Snorkelling, Scuba diving, etc. (watersports at your expense). Another key highlight of North Bay island is its Lighthouse, painted in red and white colours. 

Travel Tips: 

1. Pack all your beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for island excursions. 
2. North Bay Island offers facilities like washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
3. Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental.

Departure (5:00 AM): Board the boat and ride back to Aberdeen Jetty. The transfer time will be around 45 minutes. 

Evening (6:00 PM): Explore Aberdeen Bazaar, shop for local handicrafts, and try local delicacies. (optional) 

Overnight stay in Port Blair: You will be dropped back at the hotel to stay for the night. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Early Morning (4:30 AM – 5:00 AM): Depart from Port Blair early morning for a trip to Middle Andamans. Get a car transfer from the hotel and using the Andaman Truk Road, you will arrive at Jirkatang Check Post. 

Note: Carry snacks and water for the long road journey. 

Towards Rangat: With our convoy, we will cross through Jarawa Tribal Reserve and Baratang Island, and finally reach Rangat. 

• Please note that Jarawa Tribal Reserve is a protected area and photography is not allowed while crossing the reserve.  
• The estimated transfer time from Port Blair to Rangat is 6 to 7 hours. 

Afternoon (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Check in at the hotel and move to your room to rest. Enjoy your meal for the day and relax in your room after the long drive. 

Mid-Afternoon (3:30 PM): Depart for Dhani Nallah Mangrove Nature Walkway. This activity involves walking on a wooden walkway (about 713 metres long). Observe the beauty of the mangrove ecosystem closely and spot tropical birds. The walkway opens up to Dhani Nallah beach which is a hatchery for sea turtles. 

Amkunj Beach (5:00 PM): A 20 minutes car ride from Mangrove Walkway will take you to the serene Amkunj Beach. Watch a gorgeous sunset and soak up the calmness of the beach. The beach has a slightly rocky terrain scattered with dead corals. You will also spot crabs, oysters and tiny snails. You can sit on the eco benches built from driftwood. 

Overnight stay in Rangat: Return to your hotel for dinner and enjoy a restful sleep. 

Meal Included: Lunch

Morning (6 AM): Check out from the hotel and depart for Diglipur Island which is further up north. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Diglipur. 

The estimated transfer time from Rangat to Diglipur is 4.5 to 5.5  hours 

Optional stop at Morrice Dera Beach and Maya Bunder for photos.  

Afternoon (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Arrive at the hotel in Dilgilpur Island, complete your check in and enjoy lunch. Rest well in your room until the sightseeing tour begins on the island. 

Afternoon (3:30 PM): Depart for Kalipur Beach, a famous turtle nesting site in Diglipur Island. During turtle nesting season, you can spot 4 different species of turtles such as Leatherback, Hawksbill, Green, and Olive Ridley. Take in the tranquility of this beach and capture a beautiful sun setting on the horizon. 

Note: 

1. Kalipur Beach isn’t commercialised yet, it’s rather a nesting site for turtles. The best time for watching turtles on Kalipur Beach is from October to March.
2. Kalipur Beach is 17 km apart from Diglipur Island and estimated travel time is 40 to 50 minutes.

Overnight stay in Diglipur Island: Our coordinator will drive you back to the hotel. Enjoy dinner and rest well. 

Meal Included: Lunch

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and pack your bags for the Twin Islands excursion. Receive car transfer and get to Aerial Bay (9 Km from Diglipur Island). 

At Aerial Bay: Board a boat and ride towards Ross & Smith Island (20 kms from Diglipur). The estimated transfer time is 30 – 35 minutes. 

At Ross & Smith Islands: Experience the pristine beauty of Twin Islands. The islands are connected with a sliver of white sandbar which is visible during the low tide. Soak up the views of teeming forests and gentle waves lapping the shores. You can swim and snorkel in the shallow waters and enjoy sunbathing later. 

Note: 

1. If you plan to snorkel, carry your own gear. There aren’t any commercial stores or vendors on Ross & Smith Islands. 
2. If you don’t feel confident about swimming or snorkelling without a guide or an instructor, please avoid it.
3. There aren’t any restaurants, cafes or beach shacks on the Islands, so carry your own refreshments. 
4. A few bamboo huts and changing rooms are available for visitors.

Departure (4:00 PM): Head back to Aerial Bay Jetty and transfer to hotel. 

Overnight stay in Diglipur Island 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and complete check out. You will be transferred to Port Blair. From Diglipur, make your way to Mayabunder and cross Rangat, Baratang Island, and finally Jarawa Tribal Reserve to reach Port Blair. We will stop in-between to catch a break. 

Note: The estimated transfer time from Diglipur Island to Port Blair is 10 – 12 hours.

Late Evening: Our tour coordinator will drop you at the hotel. Enjoy dinner and take a rest.  

Overnight stay in Port Blair

Meal Included: Breakfast

Early morning: Have breakfast and leave for Phoenix Bay Jetty. Today, you will be going to Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), an incredible island with spectacular beaches, lush greenery and water sports. 

At Phoenix Bay Jetty: Board the sea vessel and cruise towards Havelock Island. The estimated transfer time between Port Blair and Havelock is 1.5 hours. 

Note: Our team will share the exact ferry schedule beforehand.  

At Havelock Jetty: Arrive at Havelock Jetty and get swift hotel transfer. After reaching the hotel, check in and retreat to your room. 

Later Afternoon (4:30 PM): Depart for Radhangar Beach and watch a gorgeous sunset. The beach is counted among the best beaches in Asia and number 1 in India. It was also named as Asia’s best beaches in 2004 by Time Magazine. Feel at ease on this beach and laze around. 

Note: Littering on this beach is strictly prohibited.

Evening (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM): Enjoy a delicious dinner and island vibes by eating out at a beachside cafe/restaurant. (at your expense). 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island: Our coordinator will attend you and drop you at the hotel’s entrance. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Havelock Jetty for a boat ride that will take you to Elephant Beach. 

Estimated Transfer time: 15 – 20 minutes. 

At Elephant Beach: The beach is renowned for its water sports, lush greenery, vibrant marine life, and shallow waters. Elephant beach is ideal for both swimmers and non-swimmers.

Enjoy Snorkelling: Get your free snorkelling session at Elephant Beach and uncover the enigmatic marine world. The soft and hard corals are visible at a depth of just 1 -2 metres, so you don’t have to worry about diving deep.

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Additional water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc are not a part of the tour package but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
3. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 

Departure (5:00 PM): Board the boat and transfer back to Havelock jetty. Receive a car transfer to the hotel and relax. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Early Morning: You will take the early morning ferry back to Port Blair and arrive at Phoenix Bay Jetty. Our team will be present to provide assistance. Estimated Transfer Time: 1.5 hours. 

Airport Drop: After arrival at Phoenix Bay, get transferred to Veer Savarakar Airport, which is just 3 kms from the jetty. Estimated transfer time: 15 minutes.  Board your flight back to home and depart from pleasant memories.
