Detailed Itinerary(8 Nights and 9 Days)

3 Night Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 1 Night Rangat — 3 Nights Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) – 1 Night Neil (Shaheed Dweep)

Airport Pickup: Fly down to Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram’s) Veer Savarkar Airport and receive a hassle-free transfer to the hotel. The estimated travel time from the airport to the hotel is 25 to 30 minutes. 

Hotel Check in (2:00 – 3:00 PM): Proceed to complete check in at the pre-booked hotel and rest in your room. Soon you will begin sightseeing for the remaining day. 

Late Afternoon (4:00 PM): Explore Cellular Jail, a significant historical landmark in Port Blair. Explore the unique structure of the monument. You can also explore the museum, photo gallery and library inside this erstwhile colonial prison. 

Light & Sound Show: Watch an incredible Light & Sound Show that uses music, narration and laser effects to narrate the history of this place.

Overnight stay in Port Blair: Our coordinator will drop you to the hotel and retire for the night. 

Early Morning: Today you will be travelling to Middle Andaman Island and will explore Rangat. Be ready on time and our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Jirkatang Check Post. 

Towards Rangat: From Jirkatang Check Post, our convoy will continue via Andaman Trunk Road. Passing Jarawa Tribal Reserve and Baratang Island, you will arrive at Rangat. Please note that photography is not allowed while passing Jarawa Tribal Reserve. 

Estimated transfer time from Port Blair to Rangat is 6 to 7  hours. 

What to expect in Rangat?

Rangat is a large island in Middle Andamans known for its pristine beauty, unspoilt beaches, waterfalls, and mangrove ecosystem. It’s one of the best offbeat places to visit Andaman to enjoy eco-tourism. 

Afternoon (2:00 PM ): Check in at the hotel and enjoy your meal for the day. Soon after, we will begin sightseeing in Rangat. 

Dhanni Nallah Mangrove Nature Walkway: Explore the rich mangrove ecosystem at Dhanni Nallah. Walk on the wooden walkway (about 713 metres long) which passes through a mangrove creek. You will get to spot many tropical birds thriving in the mangrove forests. This walkway will lead you to Dhaninallah Beach which is a hatchery for sea turtles.

Morice Dera Beach: Enjoy the serenity of one of the remotest beaches of Middle Andamans: Morice Dera Beach. The one side of the beach is adorned with bluish-green waters and the other side features a verdant  tropical forest. Take in the calmness of this beach and unwind here.  Afterwards, you can explore the twin rocks that offer spectacular views of the horizon.

Return to Hotel: Post sightseeing, get a drop-off back to the hotel  by our tour coordinator and stay the night.

Overnight stay in Rangat 

Meal Included: Lunch/Breakfast

Morning: Greet the new day and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Soon after you will check out and transfer to  Port Blair with a stopover at Baratang Island. Our tour coordinator will attend you and offer you a smooth transfer to Baratang. 

At Baratang Island: Taking the Andaman Trunk Road, reach Baratang Island in 2 to 2.5 hours. Once at Baratang jetty, get on a boat and cross the creek. You will arrive at the trekking point from where you will go through the lush forest and you will see the famous Limestone caves of Baratang with stalactites and stalagmites formation. 

Tips for Exploring Limestone Caves: 

• Wear strong sturdy shoes and keep your feet firmly on the ground while inside the cave.
• Listen to the instructions of the guide/coordinator while exploring the cave. 
• Always use a steady flashlight as there could be fruit bats inside the cave. 
• Carry an insect/mosquito repellent with you. 

Towards Port Blair: Crossing through Jararwa Tribal Reserve, you will arrive in Port Blair. The estimated transfer time from Baratang to Port Blair is 4 to 4.5 hours. Our tour coordinator will drop you at your hotel’s entrance. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair: After a long day of travelling, rest well in your cosy hotel room. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: On day 4 of your Aquamarine Isles trip, you will be travelling to Havelock Island (now known as Swaraj Dweep). Get a pick up ride at the hotel by our tour coordinator and leave for Phoenix Bay Jetty. 

At Phoenix Bay Jetty: Board the catamaran and settle in. Cruise towards Havelock Island. The average transfer time to reach Havelock with a high speed catamaran is approximately 1.5 hours. 

Arrive at Havelock Jetty: Get transferred to your hotel, check in and proceed to your room for rest and relaxation. The standard check in time in most hotels  is from 2:00 PM onwards. 

Late Afternoon (4:30 PM): Depart for one of the best beaches in Asia and #1 beach in all of India: Radhanagar Beach. The beach exudes a charming vibe, its crystal clear turquoise waters, velvety soft sand and lush trees will melt away your stress. Find a good sunset viewing spot and click instagrammable photos.

Evening (7 PM – 8 PM): Enjoy a dinner at a beachside cafe like The Blue Cafe or Full Moon Cafe located near Radhanagar Beach (at your expense). 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island: Get transferred back to the hotel and retire for the night. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and prepare yourself for a day trip to Elephant Beach. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotels and transfer you to Havelock Jetty. To avoid the midday crowds, we will arrive earlier at the beach. 

At Havelock Jetty: From Havelock Jetty, you will leave for Elephant beach on a high-speed boat. The estimated transfer time is 15 to 20 minutes. 

At Elephant Beach: Set foot on Elephant Beach and take in its scenic beauty. The beach is the best place in Havelock Island for many thrilling water sports. Avail your free snorkelling session, find a shallow section of the waters and wade in. Just a depth of one metre you will start spotting hard and soft corals, reef fish, and sea cucumbers.

Note:

1. Complimentary activities like snorkelling cannot be transferred to another day. No refund will be provided for complimentary activities, if not availed. 
2. Additional water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc are not a part of the tour package but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
3. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach) 

Return to hotel: Arrive at Havelock Jetty and our tour coordinator will drop you at the hotel. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Early Morning (4:30 AM): Wake up and travel with us to the eastern coast of Havelock Island. You will be dropped off at Kalapathar Beach. The beach has got its name from the presence of black boulders. 

Sunrise Viewing at Kalapathar Beach: Watch the iridescent glow on the beach cast by the first ray of sunlight. This is your opportunity to click some stunning pictures of the sunrise at Kalapathar Beach. Afterwards, you can do a morning jog or soak in the tranquillity of this place.

Back to Hotel: Our tour representative will drop you back at the hotel. Freshen up and enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. 

Leisure Time: The rest of the day is free for leisure. You may go and explore the nightlife in Havelock Island. 

Overnight stay in Havelock Island.

Morning: Get ready for a Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) excursion.  Neil Island is the tiniest island in South Andamans. Check out from the hotel and get transferred to Havelock Jetty. Board a catamaran and cruise towards Neil Island. 

Note: Havelock & Neil Island are 18 km away from each other. The time to complete this distance via cruise is 45 – 60 minutes. 

At Neil (Shaheed Dweep Jetty): Our tour coordinator will provide you swift transfer from the Neil Jetty to the hotel. Check in the hotel and soon after you will leave for Laxmanpur Beach & Natural Rock Formation

Afternoon (3:30 – 4:00 PM): At Laxmapur Beach No 2, two giant vertical limestone rocks joined in an arched shape to form a bridge-like structure, called the Natural Rock Formation (Howrah Bridge). Here you can spot marine life during the low tide. You can also find live and dead corals, tiny crabs, and reef fish. 

Note: 

1. The ideal time to visit Natural Rock Formation is during the low tide. During low tides, you will be able to see coral formations and other marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, and crabs in the small circular ponds.  
2. The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 
3. Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes.

Laxmanpur Beach No. 1: Afterwards, head to Laxmanpur Beach no 1 and wait for the sun to set in the horizon. Capture the panoramic views of the beautiful sunset, click photos and go for a stroll. Few vendors and beach side stalls also serve tea, coconut waters and snacks.

Overnight stay in Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep): Get transferred from the beach to the hotel and stay the night at the hotel. 

Meal Include: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Neil Jetty. Board the catamaran and cruise back to Port Blair. The estimated transfer time between Port Blair to Neil Island is 1.5 – 2.5 hours. 

Arrive at Phoenix Bay: Disembark at Phoenix Bay and you will be transferred to the hotel by our representative. Check in at the hotel and relax. 

Late Afternoon: You will leave for a shopping trip in Andaman (optional). Explore Sagarika Emporium, Sea Pearl Emporium, Aberdeen Bazaar and pick souvenirs that catch your eyes. 

Overnight stay in Port Blair: Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning: Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Veer Savarkar Airport. Our tour coordinator will ensure a smooth pick up and drop ride to the airport. 

Return home with happy memories of your Andaman Trip.
