Detailed Itinerary(8 Nights and 9 Days)

4 Nights Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) — 2 Nights Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) — 2 Nights Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Airport Pickup & Transfer: Welcome to Port Blair, our tour coordinator will meet and greet your family at the airport and will provide a smooth transfer. The estimated transfer time from the airport to the hotel is 20 to 30 minutes. 

Note: If you arrive early before the hotel check in time, explore the markets of Port Blair in the meantime.  

Afternoon (2:00 – 3:00 PM): Keep your photo ID proofs ready for a smooth check in at the hotel. Proceed to your room to rest, relax and enjoy a meal. 

Late Afternoon (4:00 PM): The sightseeing in Andaman begins with Cellular Jail. This monument has a unique cellular-shaped architecture that is worth exploring. You can also explore prison cells, a museum, a library and a photo gallery to learn about the lives of convicts who were held captive.  

Light & Sound Show: Gather in the garden area to watch a spectacular Light & Sound Show in the evening with your family. It narrates historical facts about the monument using laser lighting, music and storytelling.

• Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and national holidays. 
• Closed for Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
• Light & Sound Show Timings: 5:50 PM (Hindi) & 6:50 PM (English)

Overnight Stay in Port Blair: Our tour coordinator will transfer your family back to the hotel where you will have dinner and stay for the night.

Morning (8:30 AM – 9:00 AM): Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Aberdeen Jetty and take a boat to Ross Island (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep). The time to reach Ross Island from Port Blair is about 15 minutes 

At Ross Island: Explore colonial ruins of the British administrative capital. You will see moss and algae covered old and ramshackle buildings, banyan and peepal trees, and deer roaming on the island. The whole island has an evocative and beautiful charm, ideal for exploration and photography.

From Ross Island, cruise towards North Bay Island which is 30 -35 minutes away. 

At North Bay Island: Enjoy a fun family time at North Bay (Coral Island). Its powdery soft beaches, aquamarine waters and water sports facilities makes it one of the most visited island destinations. Kids can go around and make sandcastles, while adult members of the family can participate in water sports like snorkelling, diving, etc. (payable directly by you). 

Travel Tips: 

1. Pack all your beach essentials like swimwear, flip flops, towels, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen etc. for island excursions. 
2. North Bay Island offers facilities like washrooms, changing rooms, rental lockers, etc. 
3. Always carry cash in a waterproof bag to make payments towards refreshments, water sports, or locker rental.

Back to Phoenix Bay (4:30 – 5:00 PM): After this island excursion, get back to Port Blair and receive a hotel drop-off by our tour coordinator. 

Overnight Stay in Port Blair 

Meal Include: Breakfast

Early Morning: Taking the early morning ferry, depart from Port Blair’s Phoenix Bay Jetty to Havelock Island. Our tour coordinator will provide pick up and drop from the hotel to the bay. 

At Phoenix Bay: Board the ferry/cruise and ride towards Havelock Island, known for its stunning beaches, lush greenery, and picturesque vistas. The estimated transfer time between Port Blair and Havelock Island is 1.5 hours. 

Hotel Check in: Arrive at Havelock Jetty and get a hassle-free transfer to your hotel. Keep your IDs ready for smooth check in and retreat to your room for relaxation.

Late Afternoon (4:00 PM): Our tour coordinator will be at your hotel to pick up your family and take them to Radhanagar Beach. It is one of the best beaches in Asia and ideal for swimming, lounging, and watching the sunset. Find a good spot at the beach for sunset viewing and clicking pictures.

Evening (7 PM – 8 PM): This time is free for leisure. Go out and enjoy dinner at a beach side cafe or restaurant with your family. (at your expense) 

Overnight Stay in Havelock: Our coordinator will attend you and drop you back to the hotel. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Start your day with an early breakfast at the hotel and pack your beach bag for a fun family excursion to Elephant Beach. The beach is a 15 – 20 minute boat ride away. 

At Elephant Beach: Set foot on Elephant Beach, one of the best beaches in Havelock Island for families. The shallow waters around the beach are safe for swimming and kids to play around, just make sure you accompany them. Spot corals and reef fish near shoreside. Lounge on the beach, have refreshments and participate in water activities. 

Note:

1. Water activities like glass bottom boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, etc are not a part of the tour package but can be availed on a direct payment basis. 
2. Keep your personal items like wallet, phone, cash, clothes etc in a safe place like a locker (available on Elephant Beach). 

Departure: Get on the boat and depart from Elephant Beach. Arrive at Havelock jetty and get a smooth hotel transfer by our team’s representative. 

Overnight Stay in Havelock

Meal Included: Breakfast

Early Morning: Check out from the hotel in Havelock and get transferred to Havelock jetty. Take a ferry to Neil Island (which is a 1 hour journey) and disembark from your journey at Neil jetty. 

Check in: Get transferred from  Neil jetty and keep your IDs ready for a quick check at the resort/hotel. Head to your room and enjoy the meal of the day.  

Afternoon (3:00 PM): Depart for Bharatpur beach, a kid-friendly beach featuring shallow waters where one can easily swim. It also has many water sports facilities. You can enjoy Banana Boating, Snorkelling, Glass Bottom Boat ride etc. (at your expense). The overall vibe of the beach is serene and is a perfect place for family bonding.

Overnight Stay in Neil Island: Return to your hotel, have dinner and rest well. 

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning:  Have breakfast at the hotel and resume sightseeing on Neil Island. Today you will be visiting Natural Rock Formation and Laxmanpur Beach No. 1

Natural Rock Formation: Ideal for photography, witness the natural coral arch, shaped by sea erosion on Laxmapur Beach no 2. There are also different marine creatures thriving in the tidal pools, surrounding the Natural bridge. 

Things to Know: 

– The Natural Rock Formation is only accessible during low tide.
– You can spot marine life like colorful fish, corals, starfishes, sea urchins and crabs in the small circular ponds.  

– The rocks can be slippery, so keep your feet firmly on the ground. 

– Wear shoes with a strong grip, and if possible wear waterproof shoes.

Afternoon (2:00): Before proceeding to Laxmanpur Beach, have lunch at a nearby restaurant with our family. Post lunch, we will visit the beach for sunset viewing. 

Late Afternoon: (4:00 PM): Arrive at Laxmapur beach, a beautiful and serene tropical paradise. Lounge, sit under a shade or make sandcastles with your family. The beach is lined with food stalls selling noodles, chai and other snacks.  And around 5:10 PM – 5:15 PM, witness an ethereal sun setting into the horizon.

Overnight Stay in Neil Island: Our tour coordinator will attend you and drop you back to the hotel/resort.

Meal Included: Breakfast

Morning: Have breakfast at the resort and check out from the property. Get a transfer to Neil Jetty and board a sea vessel. Our team representative will help you board the sea vessel and afterwards cruise back to Port Blair. 

At Phoenix Bay: Disembark from your journey and get a swift transfer to your hotel in Port Blair. Check in at the property and proceed to your room for an overnight stay. 

Explore Markets (Optional): Go around and stroll markets in Port Blair. Buy souvenirs and memorabilia from Sagarika Emporium, Aberdeen Bazaar, Sea Pearl Emporium etc. There are wide collections of seashell jewellery, miniature ship models, tribal handicrafts, jute and cane products etc to choose from. 

Overnight Stay in Port Blair

Morning: Today after breakfast, you will go for a family excursion in Port Blair by visiting a museum, biological park and do birdwatching. 

Samudrika Naval Marine Museum: Visit the famous Samudrika Marine museum which houses a skeleton of a massive blue whale. The museum gives great insights on the Andaman Islands’ ecosystem, its flora and fauna, etc. The museum also displays sea shells, corals, and fish. Samudrika Naval Marine Museum is maintained by the Indian Navy.

Afternoon: Before proceeding to Chidiya Tapu Biological park, we will have stopover at a restaurant where you can enjoy lunch with your family (at your expense)

Chidiya Tapu Biological Park:  A small but ideal attraction for both kids and adults. The place is a paradise for birdwatchers and wildlife lovers. Cover nature’s trails on foot and explore the jungle. The Biological Park remains closed on Mondays. 

Evening: Arrive at Chidya Tapu Beach and watch a beautiful sunset with your family. Listen to calming chirping of birds and sounds of nature 

Overnight stay in Port Blair: Get a transfer back to your hotel and retire for the night.

Morning: Relish a breakfast at the hotel and check out from the property on time. Our tour coordinator will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to Veer Savarakar Airport. 

Airport Drop: Our coordinator will drop you at the airport entrance. Board your flight and we wish you a safe and happy return.
