Why Choose Us Over Other Generic Tour Operators?

Choosing the right tour operator is essential for a safe, seamless and hassle-free trip. Since 2017, we have been a dedicated travel partner in arranging and organizing Andaman tours.
Here is a comparison table about our Andaman travel agency and other generic tour operators.

Why Book an Andaman Package vs. Planning Yourself?
Here is a comparison table describing why planning an Andaman tour yourself can be challenging, especially by taking your time, efforts, and often money.
| Factors | Andaman Package | Self-Planned |
| Ferry Booking | We pre-book ferries from (Port Blair – Havelock – Neil) so you don’t have to make the effort of standing in line or getting surprised by the “sold out” tag. | One has to do constant monitoring of ferry tickets online. Private ferry tickets like Markuzz and Green Ocean sell out quickly, especially in peak season. |
| Accomodation (during peak season) | We partner with hotels and resorts to offer you the best accommodation in Andaman. This comes in handy when trying to get a room in the peak season. | Limited options are available in Andaman during peak season. Beach front stays like Govind nagar beach or Bhartapur beach sell out quickly, before the beginning of peak season. |
| Permit Guidance | We arrange RAP (Restricted Area Permit) for Baratang/Mahatma Gandhi Marine Park, forest entry, etc. with your Andaman trip packages. | Tourists may find it difficult to get hotels for permits and may be turned away from check points for not having permits. Rules for permit arrangement might change from time to time. |
| Activity Inclusions | We offer activities like snorkelling (with gear), beach photography, stargazing (depending on package). All activities are slotted well to suit perfect timing. | For some water activities, getting an immediate slot can be challenging. Some local operators may ask for advance booking via local agency which can make challenging difficult. |
| Cost Savings | Bundling hotels, cab transfers, activities, meal, etc save cost around ₹3000 to 6000/- per person vs when booked separately | Pricing on ferries, last minute hotel upgrades, and inclusion of water activities such as glass bottom boat ride or scuba diving exceeds Andaman trip cost and puts a financial burden. |

What Nobody Tells You About Ferry Booking in Andaman – Suggestions from our Local Travel Expert
One of the biggest concerns for most people planning to visit Andaman is “how to book a ferry in Andaman”. As experienced tour operators in Andaman, here are suggestions from our travel expert.
- Don’t make the mistake of “I will figure out when I’ll reach Andaman”. By the time of your arrival, all ferries are well booked in advance, leaving you stranded.
- The best practice is to book your ferry at least 10 – 15 days in advance, especially in peak season. This gives you sufficient time to research and book a seat/cabin class of your choice.
- Now let’s break down Govt Ferries or Private Ferries by a comparison table:
| Government Ferries | Private Ferries | |
| Prices | ₹1400 to ₹2200 for non-islanders (tourists) as per 2025-2026 prices. | Ferries like Nautika charges ₹1400 to ₹3400 |
| Comfort | Mid to Low. Crowded with islanders (during peak season) | AC Cabins, food and concierge services |
| Class | Deluxe, 1st class, 2nd Class, Bunk | Luxury, Royal, Business |
| Cancellation | Cancelled due to weather | Rare cancellations (and if happens, communicated early) |
| Speed | Slow (3 to 4 hours, depending on route) | Fast (90 minutes to 2 hours) |
| Best For | Budget travellers | Luxury and comfort seekers, families, couples, etc. |
- Always book at least 10 days in advance for private ferries, if you’re planning a Port Blair to Havelock or Havelock to Port Blair (the most busy route). For government ferries, book 5 to 7 days in advance.
What if you miss your ferry?
- If your flight lands late, you end up missing your ferry and your itinerary gets delayed. In such a case, it’s rare to get a new slot on the same day (unless someone cancels). You will have to stay the night in Port Blair and book for the next day slot with a private ferry.
- If you miss a government ferry, the money is non-refundable.
- If you cancel your private ferry 24 to 48 hours before departure, only then you may have a chance of getting a partial refund (40% to 50%).
- What’s the solution: If your flight lands in the afternoon after 1 PM, it’s always wise to book a ferry the next day. Staying in Port Blair for a night is better than losing money on a ferry ticket.
Baggage Limit on Ferries| How Much Are You Allowed to Carry?
For inter-island transfers, Government ferries allow:
- 40 kg for Cabin class per passenger
- 30 kg for Bunk class per passenger
- 25 kg for Deck class per passenger
Private ferries like Markuzz allow a baggage of 25 kg and Nautika allows 15 kg of baggage limit per passenger. Your extra baggage won’t be rejected, but you’ll have to pay an additional charge of 100rs/kg or more, depending on the internal policies of private ferries.
Is advance booking of ferry mandatory?
Short answer yes, especially if you are travelling in peak season (Nov – March). If you are travelling in shoulder/off season, it is still advisable to book 5 days in advance.
